How to visit Xishuangbanna?

I don’t know if the three to five days you mentioned includes the round trip time on the road.

There are many scenic spots in Xishuangbanna, but they are all distributed around Jinghong City.

If this is your first time coming to Banna, you can follow this itinerary.

D1: Feibanna; stay in a hotel; D2: Primitive Forest Park + Zhongke Botanical Garden + Firefly Party; stay in a hotel; D3: Dai Village + Wild Elephant Valley; stay in a hotel; (Lancang River cruise or Lancang River rafting impression) D4: Big Buddha Temple + Gao

Zhuang - first day of farewell after getting off the plane: Arrive at the beautiful Xishuangbanna by plane, pick up at the airport, and arrange to check into the hotel.

You can have free activities in the evening, visit Gaozhuang night view, visit the night market, and taste Dai cuisine.

Accommodation: Xishuangbanna Binhai International Hotel (Jinghong) Day 2: Walking in the rainforest, tropical jungle, natural forest oxygen bar, firefly party.

After breakfast, set off to the National AAAA-level scenic spot Primeval Forest Park, take a sightseeing battery car, watch 100-meter reliefs, wild peacock flying performances, unique woods, cottage song and dance performances, Jiulong Waterfalls and minority musical instrument performances; visit the Tropical Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences,

Visit Menglun Botanical Garden, China Tropical Botanical Garden, by the river.

After visiting the China Tropical Rainforest Culture Museum, you can see thousands of rare tropical rainforest plants such as dancing grass, miracle fruit, blood seal tree, strangulation tree, and bamboo garden.

At night, in the forest, attend a firefly party.

In the quiet forest, fireflies sparkled, decorating the beautiful night. After being tired from playing, I returned to Jinghong.

Accommodation: Xishuangbanna Binhai International Hotel (Jinghong) Day 3: Enter Xishuangbanna - get close to nature, have close contact with elephants, watch peacocks flying; after breakfast, go to Dai Village to visit Dai Village.

This village is a typical Dai village. It is built as a "ganlan" bamboo building and uses bamboo fences between households as fences to form its own courtyard.

Coconut, banana, bamboo and other fruit trees are planted around the Dai villages, which are lush and subtropical with exotic customs.

After lunch, drive to Sanchahe Nature Reserve where Asian elephants roam, experience the tropical primeval forest, and watch rare birds, Asian wild pythons, and butterflies.

Wild Elephant Valley Elephant School, here you will test the close contact with Asian elephants, elephant display activities, bathe the elephants, clean the elephant house, feed the elephants, and take photos with the elephants.

Take a Lancang River cruise or bonfire party in the evening/participate in Lancang River rafting in the afternoon.

The best way to see the scenery of Lancang River is by boat rafting.

The entire trip down the Lancang River takes less than two hours.

On the way, you will pass the spectacular Xishuangbanna Bridge, a small Dai village with stilted buildings, a shoal where you can have water fights, and a small island in the middle where you can eat tropical fruits and drink rice wine to experience the Dai customs (warm reminder: Rafting is not recommended in Xishuangbanna during the rainy season or on rainy days)

).

Accommodation: Xishuangbanna Binhai International Hotel (Jinghong) Day 4: The hometown of peacocks - Xishuangbanna looks for Dai culture and prays at Buddhist temples; after breakfast, go to the Great Buddha Temple to feel the characteristics of this place, pray for peace and blessings for your family, and appreciate the ethnic culture and architecture here

Style, go to Xishuangbanna landmarks, drink afternoon tea, chat, stroll around the streets, wait for the flight time, fly back to your warm home in the afternoon, and end this happy trip!

The above is my recommended four-day tour.

If you have five days, I suggest you add another day to see the Sky Tree and climb China's first and world's highest canopy skywalk.

Or go to Dai Garden and participate in the Water Splashing Festival every day.
