According to Song Xianchun's Records of Piling and Geographical Records, the name of running a bull is: "In the Han Dynasty, a cow was born in Shichi, Shandong Province, and it went to Qu 'a (now Danyang), and its diameter was broken when it entered the city gate, hence the name." He also quoted "Four Fan Zhi" as saying: "There are bronze cows in Wance Lake, and people chase them. They climbed the Dongshan Mountain and walked to this gate. Today, the sluice and weir are named after this number.
After the Song Dynasty, all records in the Ming and Qing Dynasties followed this theory. However, Taurus and Bronze Bull are myths and legends, and it is difficult to verify the real origin of the place name Niu Ben. According to the name of the Han dynasty, running cattle has a history of more than 2 100 years.
