After consulting Xining Local Treasures, the May Day morning market in Chengdong District, Xining City resumed normal operations on December 13, 2022, but had not yet opened on December 8, 2022.

Xining City is the capital of Qinghai Province and was known as Xiping County and Qingtang City in ancient times. Located in the northeastern part of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, it is the political, economic, technological, cultural, transportation and medical center of the province.
