Creation background This poem should have been written in Jiayin (1074), the seventh year of Xining, Shenzong of the Song Dynasty. At that time, Chen Xiang (zi Shugu), a colleague and friend of Su Shi when he was the general magistrate of Hangzhou, moved to Nandu (today's Shangqiu, Henan).
The poem predicts that Chen Xiang will have "yellow leaves in chaos" and "frost" by then. The poem was probably written in early autumn, when Chen Xiang was about to leave Hangzhou.
Appreciate the poem in which the poet misses his friend and speculates on what may have happened to his friend along the way. This poem is based on imagination. However, this kind of imagination is not based on random imagination, but is based on the poet's understanding of his friend.
A series of inferences made from these understandings show the poet's sincere friendship for Shu Gu and his true understanding of Shu Gu.
The first film uses the friend's itinerary as a clue, running through the space, location, sequence and scenery, and is written with unique emotions.
The two sentences "Qing Huai and Zhuo Bian. Even more on the west bank of the Yangtze River" are by no means a simple explanation of the geographical location of the Huai and Bian rivers, but seem to be calculating the friend's itinerary: You set out from Hangzhou in the south of the Yangtze River and pass through the Huai River on the way.
, Bianhe River, that is such a long water journey far north of the Yangtze River.
Because the friend is "going to Nandu", the Huaihe River and the Bianhe River are both must-pass waterways, so the two sentences are suspense about the friend's long journey, and the friend's whereabouts, the distance of the journey, and the poet's concern for him
, it’s all unspeakable.
The third and fourth sentences go a step further to imagine the scenery of the festival when friends arrive in Nandu: "When the red wine arrives, the yellow leaves are in chaos, and frost enters the old garden of the King of Liang." This means that when your guard of honor arrives in Nandu, it will be yellow leaves.
It's late autumn, and the nearby palace and gardens of King Liang Xiao's former palace are probably already covered in frost.
Chen Xiang set off from Hangzhou in mid-autumn and August (see Volume 13 of Su Shi's Chronicle). Su Shi estimated that he would not arrive until mid- or late September.
The three words "yellow leaves in chaos" accurately describe the characteristics of the late autumn season, and "frost in" should be the sign of the arrival of the last season of autumn, "frost descent".
The second sentence estimates the time when the friend will arrive, which is related to the calculation of the itinerary. They also conceive for the other person and express the poet's deep concern.
When old friends say goodbye, when the resident remembers the traveler, as the memory deepens, he often calculates whether the other party has reached the destination at a certain time or is somewhere on the way. This was especially true in ancient times when transportation was underdeveloped.
Bai Juyi's poem "Remembering Yuanjiu (Zhen) Drunkly with Li Shiyi" goes: "Suddenly I remembered my old friend Tianji, and planned to go to Liangzhou today." This is an example of the poet's memory and deep affection, which can be compared with
