Meilongzhen restaurant
Meilong Town Restaurant was named after the anecdote of Emperor Zheng De's private visit to Meilong Town Restaurant in the classical Peking Opera "The Prince and the Geisha", which was founded in 1938. Mainly engaged in Yang Bang snacks, such as yaorou, shredded pork, steamed stuffed bun and stewed noodles. The founder of the restaurant is a Beijing opera lover. The name of the restaurant is taken from a place name in the classical Beijing opera The Prince and the Dancer.
This restaurant used to be a gathering place for celebrities and talents, and now it has become a national super restaurant which enjoys a good reputation at home and abroad.
After 70 years of careful polishing and tempering, Meilong Town Restaurant has formed a unique style of "fragrant, tender, smooth, fragrant and mellow, with one dish and one style and various dishes". Nearly 100 classic dishes handed down from ancient times, such as crab powder, shark's fin, dried prawns, crystal shrimps, fat fish noodles and dried green beans, have been included in the famous dishes of China. Jing'an Temple
Jing 'an Temple, also known as Jing 'an Ancient Temple, is located in Jing 'an District, Shanghai. Its history can be traced back to the ten years of Sun Wu Chiwu in the Three Kingdoms (247 years), and it was originally named Hudu Chongxuan Temple. In the first year of Xiangfu in Song Dynasty (1008), it was renamed Jing 'an Temple. In the ninth year of Jiading in the Southern Song Dynasty (12 16), the temple was moved from Wusong River to Lupu Boiling Well (now Nanjing West Road), which was built before Shanghai.
Jing 'an Temple has a total construction area of 22,000 square meters. The whole temple forms the pattern of front hall and rear tower. It is the oldest Buddhist temple in Shanghai, and consists of three main buildings: Daxiong Hall, Tianwang Hall and three temples. There are famous paintings of Badashan people and long grass scrolls of Wen Zhiming's original pipa. Jing 'an District is also famous for Jing 'an Temple. The architectural style of Jing 'an Temple is similar to that before Ming Dynasty, and the typical representative is the shape of bucket arch.
