I graduated from university in 1995, and it has been 26 years since I came to the beautiful city of Nanjing from a northern city.
Here, I left behind my beautiful youth years, working and living with my beloved, from having nothing to having everything now.
Xuanwu Lake, Confucius Temple, Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, Qinhuai River, and the Yangtze River.

Leave countless wonderful memories.
In the Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai regions of the Yangtze River Delta, I feel that Nanjing people are relatively low-key, restrained and unassuming.
Urban construction, transportation, culture and education, and medical and health care are all very powerful.
In terms of diet, there is not as much pasta as in the north, nor as many varieties of rice as in the south [呲呲][呲呲].
In terms of climate, winter is quite cold, so I don’t plan to retire in Nanjing.
Guangzhou is pretty good [呲呲][呲呲][ Rose][ Rose] I came to Nanjing around 2005 as a working diaosi.
At that time, I was going to meet a client near Jiangning 21st Century Modern City. I was sweating profusely in the dog days of summer.
Get on the bus from Ruijin Road Station, and there is a seat not far behind the driver.
An old lady came up at the second stop and instinctively gave up her seat.
Stand and lean on the crossbar behind the driver (buses were different then than they are now).
The old lady called me before getting off the bus: "Young man, come and sit."
After sitting for a while, another old lady came up.
Continue to give up your seat instinctively.
There are still two stops left until the final stop and we sit down again.
I was the only one in the car at this time.
As a result, the driver turned around and asked me: Where are you going, young man?
I said the purpose.
The driver brother said: I will take you there.
The place I wanted to go was about a 20-minute walk from the bus stop. In the dog days of summer, there weren’t even many green trees in Jiangning’s generation.
The driver drove the bus and sent me there!
The reason is that I think you are a pretty nice little guy.
I am nothing but grateful.
As someone who has never been away from Nanjing for a long time, I don’t seem to have much say on this issue, so I asked my former classmates and friends who had previously moved to Shanghai and Beijing to come to the following conclusions.
They will never forget the delicacies of Nanjing: chicken steamed buns, sweet-scented osmanthus and taro seedlings, Jinling salted duck, firewood wontons... They can name a long list casually, and they can't count them with both hands.
Because of these delicacies, they traveled through the streets and alleys of Nanjing and discovered the unique and beautiful scenery of Nanjing.
They visited Confucius Temple, Laomendong, Yihe Road, Taogu New Village, Xinjiekou, Hexi Wanda, and strolled through Mingwa Gallery and Fufu Road... Whether it was the style of the Republic of China or the smell of fireworks, they were all attracted by it.
They never forget it.
Another thing that is mentioned repeatedly is Nanjing dialect and Nanjing people.
They spoke Nanjing dialect very affectionately. "Ah want spicy oil" was their first impression of Nanjing dialect. Later, they learned "Boss, give me more" and "I'll get you four", and they also understood how Nanjing people interact with each other.
The nickname just sounds vulgar, but is actually full of love.
Once one falls in love with a place, its air, its sky, its people and even its flaws become lovable.
In the 1960s, when Nanjing was under development and construction, I welcomed my birth with an open heart of fraternity. I was lucky enough to become a "little carrot" in Nanjing.
Nanjing is tolerant of both young and old. After the Yangtze River Bridge was opened to traffic, parents and children packed into "Shilunka" buses to visit the bridge.
The city wall of Zhongshan Gate, the edge of Qianhu Lake, and the green plum blossoms growing on Meihua Mountain are all venues for children to "guerrilla". The landmark buildings, Youth Olympic facilities, and the cross-river bridge are all displays of Jinling's fraternity.
Let Nanjing people participate and take charge of naming the bridge.
The name Nanjing Eye was born, demonstrating the public voice, public support and respect for democracy in Nanjing's construction.
The bronze statue of Sun Yat-sen in Xinjiekou Square, Nanjing, stood there, was moved away, and then moved back again, in line with the public sentiment.
Citizens taking public buses can enjoy two free rides by swiping their card once.
Nanjing's more than 30 kilometers of ancient city walls from the Ming and Qing Dynasties are a great place to heal your mood. If your heart is there, your dreams will be there, and you can adjust your emotions.
These and subtle services make people reluctant to leave Nanjing and admire them from the bottom of their hearts.
There are so many places in Nanjing that I will never forget. The lush French plane trees on both sides of Ninghai Road, the dancing cherry blossoms at Jiming Temple, the smoky snacks in the alleys in the south of the city, the towering city walls, and the modern Hexi New Town.
The Yangtze River Bridge is seen almost every day, the scenery along the Xuanwu Lake, the many steps of Jiming Temple, the refreshing air of Purple Mountain, the first-line stores of Deji Plaza, the tranquility of Chaotian Palace, the bustling Confucius Temple, and Nanjing Normal University
The deep and quiet beauty of Suiyuan campus.
There are indeed many places and many memory points.
If one day I have to leave Nanjing, I think I might still be a human being.
Nanjing is different from Beijing and Shanghai, and also different from Shenzhen and Guangzhou. Beijing and Shanghai always look down on themselves, and if they come from other places, they are generally not accepted. But in Shenzhen and Guangzhou, the opposite is true. Everyone comes here to work hard. If you don’t struggle every day,
Will fall behind.
Nanjing is really not the case. The spirit displayed by Nanjing people is more like that of Northeastern people.
Maybe because they were once industrial towns, the working class is often the main group of the urban population. They are united, disciplined, and not xenophobic. As long as you are willing to work hard, do things honestly, and do your duty, no one will look down on you, and you will be very good.
Few people care where your hometown is.
