Wa’s interview transcript—our Shenzhen story

I came to Shenzhen in 2007. At that time, because your father had been working in Shenzhen for two years and it was very hard to travel back and forth, I brought you, one year old, with my family to Shenzhen.

In Nanshan District, Nanshan was very prosperous at that time. What impressed me the most was that there was a Xincheng Joint Inspection Station from Nanshan to Baoan (this was the inspection station when entering the Shenzhen Customs in the past). At that time, no documents were required to enter the Customs, but the Joint Inspection Station was still there, and the road was not as wide as it is now.

My first job in Shenzhen was as the CFO of a company. At that time, the company was planning to go public. I left early and came back late, often working overtime. Sometimes I worked overtime all night to get the system online. It was very hard to think about it now, but at that time I didn’t I feel tired because work gives me a sense of accomplishment.

When I first came to Shenzhen, I lived in Harbor Lido. At that time, I lived in a two-bedroom apartment with one living room, and the environment was pretty good. There is a garden and a shopping mall downstairs, which is very convenient for shopping and fun. I bought my own house at the end of 2007. The money for buying the house was the money my parents accumulated from working.

Compared with the past, Shenzhen has changed a lot.

Environment: In the past, there was only an open space next to the community, but now it has become a beautiful four-season park. At that time, except for our house, the central area of ??Bao'an was a desolate land to the west. Now there are district government buildings, large shopping malls, hospitals, schools, libraries, and beautiful communities.

Transportation: The subway was under construction at the time, but now the subway is extending in all directions. The bus system is also perfect.

Amusement: At that time, there were only Window of the World, Happy Valley, etc. Later, there was the Eastern Overseas Chinese Town, and there were various other fun amusement places.

This is a vibrant city full of energy and challenges. If you come, you will become a Shenzhen native and you will not regret it.

The saddest thing: When I first bought the house, the house was empty except for basic daily necessities. The furniture was purchased slowly month by month with my salary. Thinking about the high monthly mortgage payment makes me sad.

The happiest thing: when you grow up healthily and slowly, when you have touching moments in your growth process or when you make progress in your studies. There was also the time when I purchased my first car, in 2008.

I have a friend of the same gender, whom I met while playing together.

We got married on July 16, 2004, the last day of the Horse month in the Year of the Monkey.

Shenzhen’s food sceneries: rice rolls, preserved meat, morning tea, lychees, and longan are very impressive. I like the Eastern Overseas Chinese Town, Wutong Mountain, Qiniang Mountain, and the niche beaches on the coast, Shark Bay, etc. I also like Dapeng Ancient City and Gankeng Ancient Town.

The most proud thing I did in Shenzhen was to buy a house as soon as I came here and be able to live and work in peace and contentment.

The proudest moment is when I had a big breakthrough at work. In Shenzhen, things are changing with each passing day and things are changing very quickly.

The biggest changes that have brought to me are: being adaptable and accepting all kinds of new things; self-confidence, as long as I dare to think, nothing is impossible; the ability to face setbacks, there are always more solutions than problems.

As a demonstration area of ??socialism with Chinese characteristics, view: As a pioneer of reform and opening up, the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone has a new mission, a highland of high-quality development, a model of a city governed by law, a model of urban civilization, a benchmark of democracy and happiness, and sustainable As a pioneer in development, Shenzhen in the future will be at the forefront of the development of the times and set a pioneering example. It will definitely get better and better.

Pretty satisfied. My wish is to lead another company to IPO in my career

The story I will definitely write: the changes in the environment near my home, the disappearance of the Xincheng Joint Inspection Station.

I want to tell you that you have really caught up with a very good era. You have a prosperous life and have never experienced any hardships in life. You should cherish it and turn it into a motivation for learning; and now the information It is so developed and rich in learning resources. As long as you put your mind to it, it is easy to find the best and most effective way to learn. You must work hard to realize your self-worth. What's more important is to have a healthy body and mind, and the personal ability to achieve happiness.

The spirit of Shenzhen in my eyes is: innovation, change, efficiency, vigor, hard work, enthusiasm, tolerance, happiness[/cp]
