Today is the Mid-Autumn Festival. In China, August 15th is the Mid-Autumn Festival. In the moonlight, everyone sits around to enjoy the moon and eat moon cakes. This year's moon cakes were made by my grandmother and me.
We have two steps to make moon cakes. The first step is to make stuffing, using walnuts, sesame seeds, sugar, oil and so on. Stir well and set aside.
Step 2: Mix flour, baking powder, a little oil and water into a paste, stir it evenly, then knead the flour by hand, put it in a basin for half an hour, take out the kneaded noodles, then cut them into small pieces with a knife, make a round white cake, and put the cake stuffing in and knead them into round balls. Then put it into a carving mold, pat it flat by hand, and pour it out to become a raw moon cake.
Finally, put the raw moon cakes in the oven and bake them at 180 degrees. After a while, I opened the lid of the oven and took out the moon cakes. Then, the moon cakes are ready. I feel very happy after eating my own moon cakes! Because I have grown up, I can make such delicious moon cakes.
