Babette's Feast (1987)

The plot describes a small village in northern Denmark with a pair of Lutheran sisters who sacrificed their love because of their religion. Their family has a maid who came from France to avoid chaos. She turned out to be a famous chef in a French restaurant. After winning the French lottery prize, she asked to cook in person when the fathers of the two sisters died, and to entertain the old parishioners to enjoy an authentic French feast.
