1. Xi 'an-Yulin

Route recommendation: Xi 'an-Huangling-Hukou-Yan 'an-Yulin (about 881 kilometers)

Timetable:

Day 1: Take Xitong Expressway from Xi 'an to Huangling to worship the Yellow Emperor. Then from Fuxian Expressway to Hukou, you can feel the charm of Hukou Waterfall, the second largest waterfall in China. Live in Yichuan County at night.

The second day of Huangdi Mausoleum

From Yichuan, 19 kilometers east, take 211 provincial highway to the north, turn to Yunyan, and then turn to 313 provincial highway to Nanniwan' Little Jiangnan' in northern Shaanxi. This section of the road is average, narrow but relatively flat. After a short stay, continue on your way and arrive at the revolutionary holy land Yan' an around noon.

Hukou Waterfall

Day 3: After visiting Zaoyuan and the former revolutionary site in the morning, drive to Yulin. When passing through Mizhi County, you can visit Li Zicheng Palace. In the afternoon, go to Yulin. After a short rest, you can go to Zhenbeitai, Hongshixia and Yulin Great Wall, 3 kilometers north of the city, and feel the desert sunset. Stay in Yulin at night.

Zhenbeitai

Day 4: Take the Chongqing-Beijing Expressway to Jingbian, and visit the ruins of Tongwan City, which is 81 kilometers northeast of Jingbian County. This is the capital site of' Daxia Kingdom', and it is also the early imperial capital site that is still basically well preserved in China. All the way back to Xi 'an at high speed in the afternoon.

Friendly reminder: If you have enough time, you can consider going to Hongjiannao, which is located in the northwest of Shenmu County and is known as the' Pearl of the Desert'.

2. Yinchuan direction

Route recommendation: Xi 'an-Pingliang-Guyuan-Zhongwei-Yinchuan (about 641 kilometers)

Timetable:

Day 1: Depart from Xi 'an at 7: 11 in the morning, take National Highway 312 in Xianyang, and enter Gansu Province via Liquan, Ganxian and Changwu. You can arrive at Pingliang around 12 noon. The road conditions in this section are basically good. After dinner and rest in Pingliang, leave at 13: 11 and continue to go to Guyuan along National Highway 312. After arriving in Guyuan, take the expressway directly, get off at Zhongning Expressway, turn west, and follow the signs to Zhongwei County.

Shapotou

Day 2: Visit Shapotou, more than 21 kilometers west of Zhongwei County. Shapotou used to be desolate, but now the Yellow River, oasis, desert and Great Wall here form a beautiful scenic line. After lunch in the afternoon, leave Zhongwei for Yinchuan, take the national road and pass Qingtongxia, where the road conditions are good. You can also see the scenery of Qingtongxia, live in Yinchuan at night and go to Yinchuan to see the night view of the Yellow River.

Shahu

Day 3: Go north to Fu Yao and Hu Sha. Husha Lake, 56 kilometers away from Yinchuan, is a paradise for birds. At noon, I returned to Yinchuan by the original road, without stopping, and visited the Xixia Mausoleum more than ten kilometers west. Live in Yinchuan at night.

Day 4: Return to Xi 'an by the original road, and you can go to Kongtong Mountain, a Taoist holy place, after passing Pingliang.

Friendly reminder: There is a 42km provincial highway from Pingliang to Guyuan, and the road conditions are not very good. Please be careful and slow down.

3. Direction of Chengdu

Route recommendation: An-Zhouzhi-Yangxian-Hanzhong-Mianxian-Guangyuan-Mianyang-Chengdu (about 821km)

Timetable:

Day 1: Depart from Xi 'an in the morning, take the West Lake Expressway to the highway around the mountain, pass Foping and Yangxian, take the 118 National Road to Hanzhong, and then. In Hanzhong, you can visit ancient Chinese terraces, Baijiangtan and other scenic spots. If time permits, you can visit Baohe Ancient Plank Road and Nanhu Lake. In the evening, you can stay in Hanzhong and taste special snacks, such as vegetable tofu and hot rice skin.

Marquis Temple

The next day: After breakfast, start from Hanzhong, take National Highway 118 to Wuhou Temple in Mianxian County, and then take Guanghan Expressway to Guangyuan. On the way, you can visit Chaotian Yueming Gorge, the ancient plank road and the Thousand Buddha Cliff in Guangyuan, which are called "China Communications Museum".

Jianmenguan

Take Guangmian Expressway from Guangyuan to Mianyang. On the way, you can go to the ancient city of Zhao Hua, the famous Fei _ Tomb and Huang Ze 'an in the Three Kingdoms. After arriving at Jianmen, you can enjoy the Cui Yun Gallery and Jianmen Pass, one of the wonders of the world, and taste the famous Jianmen Tofu Class

Day 1: Depart from Xi 'an, go to Shangnan via National Highway 312 of Xilan Expressway, enter Henan, turn to National Highway 219, go south to Shiyan, Hubei, and stay in Shiyan that night.

the next day: drive southeast from Shiyan city to Wudang mountain. Wudang Mountain is magnificent, backed by Shennongjia forest area, and Taoist buildings are all over the mountain. After visiting Wutai Mountain, return to Shiyan for accommodation, where you can taste local specialties.

Shennongjia

Day 3: Drive south from Shiyan City via Fangxian County to Shennongjia Forest Area, which takes about 4 hours. You can visit Yerendong when you pass by Fangxian County. There is a cave in this cave. You can stay in Muyu Town at night. The local bacon, lazy tofu, wild vegetables and Tujia banquet in Shennongjia are all delicious foods worth tasting. Day 4: Return from Shennongjia Road, take Shiyan to Xiangfan Expressway, visit Gulongzhong along the way, and continue to go to Wuhan along National Highway 316 in the afternoon, visit Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge, Yellow Crane Tower and other scenic spots, and taste Wuhan snacks.

Friendly reminder: Drive from Shiyan City to Wudang Mountain and Shennongjia. The road conditions are good, but there are many bends in the mountain road, so the speed should not be too fast.

4. Xi' an-Shenlongjia-Wuhan

Recommended route: Xi' an-Heyang-Hancheng-Pingyao-Taiyuan (about 661 kilometers)

Timetable:

Day 1: From Xi' an to Xiyu Expressway to Heyang, turn right to the east and reach the Yellow River Wetland in Qiachuan Town, 23 kilometers east of Heyang County. To the east of the Yellow River, there is the name of' Little Jiangnan'. In the afternoon, you can return to 118 Heyang Road, visit Sima Qian Temple and Dangjia Village in hancheng city, and stay in Hancheng at night.

Qiachuan Yellow River Wetland

The next day: cross the Yellow River from Longmen along National Highway 118 to Shaanxi, pass Hejin and Jishan, go north from houma city Expressway, and visit the compound. Stay in Pingyao at night.

Pingyao Ancient City

Day 3: Visit Pingyao Ancient City. Pingyao is the most complete county seat of Ming and Qing Dynasties in China, which basically maintains the original pattern of the ancient city. After lunch, we will transfer from Dayun Expressway to Xia Fen Expressway to Taiyuan. Tourist attractions include Jinci and Longshan Grottoes.

Day 4: Return to Xi 'an by the same route.

friendly reminder: to return to xi' an, you can go back the same way, or go south along Dayun Expressway, then turn to Yuncheng in the southwest, cross Fenglingdu Bridge to Shaanxi, and then take Xitong Expressway to return to Xi' an.

5. Xi 'an-Taiyuan

Recommended route: Xi 'an-Weinan-Tongguan-Sanmenxia-Luoyang-Zhengzhou (about 581 kilometers)

Timetable:

Day 1: Take the Xitong Expressway in the morning and go to Luoyang via Weinan, Tongguan and Sanmenxia. On the way, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of how the Yellow River water moves out of the sky, taste the Yellow River fish and stay in Luoyang overnight.

Longmen Grottoes

Day 2: Visit the Longmen Grottoes, 13km south of Luoyang. Longmen Grottoes is one of the four largest grottoes in China, and it is worth spending a day to have a look. It shows the largest and best plastic arts in China from the Northern Wei Dynasty to the Tang Dynasty, representing the highest peak of stone carving art in China. Arrive in Dengfeng at night and stay in Dengfeng.

the third day: save your strength and go to Shaolin Temple, the world's first temple at the foot of Wuru Peak in Shaoshi Mountain, 12km northwest of Dengfeng County. After the tour, continue along the expressway eastward through Zhengzhou to Kaifeng.

Shaolin Temple

Day 4: Visit the Jokhang Temple in Kaifeng and the ruins of Tokyo City in the Northern Song Dynasty. After lunch, take Lianhuo Expressway and return to Xi 'an.

Friendly reminder: Don't take Lianhuo Expressway from Luoyang to Longmen Grottoes and Shaolin Temple, or you will take more wrong roads. There is a newly-built expressway connecting Longmen Grottoes and Shaolin Temple.

Day 1: It takes about 1 hour and 31 minutes from Xi 'an to Xibao Expressway to Baoji City in the morning. On the way, you can also visit Famen Temple in Fufeng County and Zhuge Liang Temple in Wuzhangyuan, Qishan County. You can visit Yandi Mausoleum in Baoji City. Live in Baoji.

Famen Temple

The next day: From Baoji City to the west, take National Highway 311 to McKee. Maijishan Grottoes is one of the four largest grottoes in China, 45 kilometers away from Tianshui City. Grottoes were built in the late Qin Dynasty in Sixteen Countries. After more than 1,511 years of excavation and repair in the Northern Wei, Sui, Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, it has become one of the famous large-scale grottoes in China, known as the "Oriental Grottoes".
