If you give up using your thinking and wisdom and leave it in a state of nothingness and silence, you will have no sorrow. You see, when you use your wisdom and respond to others, you will have two attitudes: respect and harshness. The same thing is judged as evil and beautiful, which makes people have different hearts, likes and dislikes, joys and fears. When social preferences or fears are one-sided and form a strong position, society will become unstable and stand on the law of "Tao"

Look at today's social state: people are constantly giving up the life of farming (giving up the life state of "empty heart, solid belly, weak will and strong bones"), leaving waste and refusing to stop. People are rushing to pursue all kinds of desires, and people are scrambling to be very busy, as if there are countless delicious food and countless beautiful scenery waiting for them to enjoy and watch, just like me. It happened that we are afraid of the change of desire in the state of monasticism. We would rather be as calm and empty as babies, but when babies give birth to acquired wisdom, they will be driven by desire, so we would rather be in this "trance" state. People's lives are rich and colorful, and I am like being abandoned by society. I have nothing. I am like a stupid person who is in chaos all day! People's eyes and their thoughts are very clear. They are in pursuit of material desires. They are as observant as a magnifying glass. All interests and material desires, large and small, can't escape from their attentive and discerning eyes. Monks like me are very different. We are only content with the empty road, and our image looks groggy and chaotic. We are like drifting in the vast and boundless sea. No place is there. The people have made a difference through hard work, and they have achieved what they want. What about us? Still the same, still confused, like a foolish person, doing nothing, doing nothing, getting nothing. We are different from ordinary people, because we pursue the "avenue" and want to be integrated with it, just as the people aim at "desire", we aim at "avenue".
