The whole village is located at the junction of hills and plains, with fertile land and sufficient water resources. Wheat and corn are mainly grown in the village.

After the Third Plenary Session of the 11th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the whole village implemented the joint production contract responsibility system, which mobilized the enthusiasm of the villagers, and now the grain yield per mu exceeds 1,000 kilograms.

The breeding industry in the village is developed, and many villagers raise dairy cows, sheep, broiler chickens, etc. as a sideline economy.

The village's automobile transportation industry is relatively developed, with many transportation professionals; Shanshui Group, Heavy Duty Truck Group, Liming College and other units also provide opportunities for the village's economic development; in 2008, the village's food street was basically formed.
