My Shuke and Beta

(1) Among pets, I actually hate rats the most, but my son likes them.

I bought several parrots before, because my son often played with them in his hands, and they all flew away accidentally. The birds can no longer be kept.

Dogs are my son’s favorite, but he loves them so much that he can’t buy them. If he buys them, he will definitely live and eat with them, holding them and clinging to them all day long.

In order to satisfy his determination to keep a pet, I had to choose a hamster that I hated but was the easiest to keep and gave it to him.

I personally selected the two little guys from more than a hundred hamsters. I don’t know whether they are male or female, but in order to distinguish them, I specially selected a pure white one and a light yellow one.

My son named them Shuke and Beta. Although I still haven’t figured out who is Shuke and who is Beta, let’s just say Shuke is white and Beta is yellow.

A medium-sized two-story rat cage is their villa. It has running wheels, slides, and a small orange nest for sexual use. There is also special wood chips underneath, which is soft and dry, and the two young rats can live in it.

Settled down here.

The white Shuke is docile and doesn't like to move. You can play with it at will. You can see that he has a fat head and a fat butt, and his butt always twists and shakes when he runs. He is fleshy and has fluffy white fur. He is very cute and lazy.

When he is in the cage, except for eating, he usually hides in his nest and sleeps.

Sometimes I catch him and put him in my palm. He smells the scent in my hand and licks my skin with his little tongue from time to time, but he must put it down decisively before he is ready to taste my taste.

In order to prevent my son from being bitten, I bought special gloves.

The yellow beta is lively and active. He hates being held in my hands and always tries to escape.

A pair of black eyes, looking around, although short-sighted, he will not miss any opportunity to look for opportunities, always thinking about escaping.

As long as he is locked in a cage, he will keep biting the cage door and squeezing his little tip between the two wires, dreaming of escaping from prison.

When his son saw that he was dishonest, he would keep him locked up. The more he was oppressed, the more he resisted, and Beta became more determined to escape.

(2) When they arrived at their new home, they got along well.

The weather was very cold at that time, and neither of them was used to sleeping in a small den. Instead, they dug a hole in sawdust and built it high with sawdust around it. They huddled together to keep warm while sleeping.

They also buried their heads completely inside, with only a little bit of their back exposed. Whenever there was any movement outside, they would lazily raise their heads from the sawdust, twitching their noses and sniffing around. When they found nothing new, they would bury their heads in the sawdust again.

Rats are rats, it is their nature to sleep during the day and be active at night.

One day, they woke me up in the middle of the night.

I deliberately placed them on the balcony, three doors away from my room.

I heard the sound of "hoo-hoo", which stopped for a while and continued for a while. I covered my head with the quilt and closed my eyes, trying to continue sleeping, but the quiet sound was particularly annoying in the dead of night. I struggled for a while, but there was nothing I could do.

Just get up and take a look.

After getting closer, I turned on the light and saw two little guys standing upright at the edge of the cage looking at me, with their forelimbs curled up in front of their chests, looking extremely innocent. I squatted down and looked at them to see where the sound was coming from.

They may have noticed that I didn't mean to open the cage door, so they just started playing on their own.

Shuke left the side of the cage first, went directly to the running wheel, and started running extremely fast. The sound of "hoo-hoo" started again. After running for a few seconds, Beta also ran over. Shuke consciously stepped aside and let

He went up and ran, climbed up the slide, circled around in the orange den, slid down again, and returned to the running wheel.

At this time, Beta had no intention of coming down and continued running. After waiting for a while, Shuke became a little impatient, so he bit Beta's back with his mouth and dragged him down, and then he went up and continued running.

The faster the speed, the louder the whirring sound.

I got up in the middle of the night to watch rats running on a cold day. I guess there was only one person in the world. I had to deal with this annoying sound while I was still sleeping.

I picked up a small stick and pressed it against the side of the running wheel. The running wheel stopped moving and the world became quiet.

Shuke didn't know what was going on, but he still ran as hard as he could. At this time, Beta and others became impatient and climbed up. Two mice stood in the middle of the running wheels, running in opposite directions, but the running wheels did not move at all.

I feel a little guilty about sleeping on the bed, but who wants them to be weak?

? (3) Dogs drool when they see others eating, and the same goes for hamsters. Although they are not drooling, they are indeed very cute.

They usually feed them shelled millet, and their food is very simple.

One day, I was sitting in the hanging basket at home, eating biscuits. The biscuits were full of milk, fragrant and sweet.

The two mice next to the hanging basket were awakened by the fragrance. The two little guys stood on tiptoes, facing the direction where I was sitting. They would jump up a few times from time to time, their noses trembling as they smelled the fragrance in the air.

I stood up and walked behind them. They stood on their feet and turned around after me. They looked so cute and funny.

Although you can't see their thoughts from those dark eyes, you can imagine how greedy they are.

I took off a small piece and threw it between them. They smelled it with their noses and licked it gently with their pink tongues. Shuke suddenly bit it and turned around and ran away. How could Beta give up and chase him?

In the past, the two guys fought for each other, and finally the biscuit was broken into two pieces, and then they each tasted it with satisfaction.

From then on, their foodie journey was out of control.
