Now draw it like this—
About the whole story of painting colored lead and the review of early works, these two articles were written by me during two months of close contact with colored lead and half a year after painting colored lead. This paper mainly reviews my colored lead flower works in the past six months and my mental journey of earning a little money by painting.
When I first started painting colored lead, I was aimless. I painted flowers, food and buildings for a while, just like a headless fly that can't find its way. But I paint not for entertainment, but for a clear purpose: I want to sell paintings and produce my own cultural and creative products. Anyway, I want to make money by painting. But I know that my ability is limited and I don't belong to the type of special efforts, so I need to find a method that suits me.
Of course, it is imperative to find a painting theme that suits you. Food, flowers, people and painting have their own advantages, so it is best to choose one field to cultivate deeply.
After several comparisons, I decided to give priority to flowers. /kloc-in September of 0/7, I found a friend who studied fine arts as a master, and drew some passable flower pictures under her guidance.
The pictures above are all cool colored lead I just bought from Czech Republic, and the color is much brighter than Honghui. If I taste the sweetness, I will sit up and take notice of Shu and start a tragic chopping mode! I bought a set of 36-color green glow on 20 17 Double Eleven, which was very distressing, but I was very excited when I first wrote it.
This feel, this color, is several grades higher than before!
At the end of the year, I planned to draw a picture seriously, so I chose "Lu" from thousands of plans. Lu is a famous ornamental flower in China, with gorgeous colors and complicated flower shapes. It took me a whole month to finish painting and stopping while the studio was being renovated.
Only one purple is used in the main part, which reflects the shades. Lv Hui's refill is very hard, and the dark parts in the painting are in place. The trouble of stacking several layers before has been washed away. I fell in love with it deeply.
It is easy to be frugal, but difficult to be frugal. I am used to emitting green light and then using other cheap colored lead. I can't seem to draw any more.
At the beginning of the new year, I drew a camellia. Thinking about the next book, it is also excellent to print it in the footer.
At this time, I found that there was no pink in the 36 colors of green light, only pink, so I went to look for 48 and 60 colors, and I was not sure if there was pink. You know this color is necessary for painting flowers.
At that time, I didn't know how my mind got hot, so I bought a set of green glow with 120 color! Afterwards, I had to comfort myself that "if a worker wants to do a good job, he must sharpen his tools first" and "this money will be earned back later".
Since what is done is done, I will paint for the money I threw away anyway. So I'm going to challenge a more complicated hyacinthus orientalis. Master originally bought a bottle of hyacinthus orientalis to sketch for me. As a result, it grew into a seaweed head in a few days. I have to find a photo online.
I have been painting for more than three hours, and I am really impatient. The upper part is a little nonsense.
Finally, I still can't bear to use green glow. First, I added a background color to Kule. At this point, I feel that this painting is cold.
As a result, the whole thing became like this after being colored with green light!
P is here again. It still feels good.
Although the shape is still rough when you look closely, you can reverse the trend with green and rich colors! The manuscript of this painting was later sold in the market, and the electronic version was bought, which can be said to be my first bucket of gold.
Therefore, if a worker wants to do a good job, he must sharpen his tools first. This is true!
The following picture of Zhu Dinghong was painted at the suggestion of the master. She thinks I painted it best. Zhu Dinghong is a good choice for colored lead flowers, with bright colors and beautiful shapes, which is very photogenic, but it is not as complicated as hyacinthus orientalis and Lu, and it takes less time and has a good effect.
The flowers on the front of this painting are painted with green glow, and the two flowers on the back are painted with red glow. The color number is the same, the intensity is the same, but the red light has its own blur effect. It's amazing!
It's a pity that the original of this painting was painted on a broken sketch book. I rubbed it dirty and painted it with correction fluid. It's so bad that it can't be sold.
The PS version became the second work I sold. From then on, I realized that all my manuscripts must be sold, or they would be destroyed in my hands. ...
I'm going to draw plum blossoms during the Spring Festival. I drew three editions of this plum blossom map with white paper, kraft paper and black paper, which is called "Three Lane of Plum Blossom", but none of them look good. The master said that this painting is not suitable for painting colored lead. I didn't believe it at first, but I drew it three times and finally believed it. Colored lead is suitable for drawing large flowers with beautiful lines and bright colors, while small flowers such as plums, cherries and plums have poor natural effects.
After that, I learned to draw objects on the screen.
For example, I took a fancy to this cactus flower at a glance, and decided that it would be very eye-catching to draw, and it turned out to be true.
But after the flowers are finished, the cactus balls below can worry me. The change of light and shade is more complicated than the flowers. Especially I don't know how to draw Nitraria. I began to plan to leave them blank. I thought it was too much trouble to draw them with a white pen, but the white pen didn't cover them enough, and it didn't look good after drawing them several times. I finally finished painting, only to find that the green is too bright and looks like a plastic ball. Cover it with dark green quickly. I was tossed by this broken ball for more than ten hours. ...
From this, I found that painting still depends on my own exploration. No matter how many tutorials I read and how many other people's stories I listen to, I have to draw by myself, so that I know how to draw quickly and well to suit myself.
In order to relieve the pressure of drawing cactus balls, I also quickly doodled a watercolor ginkgo leaf picture. The paper used is not good. It looks like a wet kang and hangs on the toilet in the studio toilet.
In May, I copied an iris. Some flowers look complicated, but they are easy to draw. Iris is an example. Because its flower shape is more casual, not very regular, so the pattern is relatively simple, and it will not affect the effect at all.
And the color of iris is the most vivid blue and purple among flowers (see hyacinthus orientalis), which is very beautiful to draw.
This painting was not based on photos, but copied the works of a foreign painter, which gave me many new experiences. Originally, I thought it was best to draw exactly the same as the real thing, exactly the same, so I tried to imitate the photos. But after copying this painting, I realized that I was wrong. Neither composition nor color is natural, but it looks more beautiful than natural. I realized the importance of the author's conscious "creation".
But creation is not a fantasy, it must be based on careful observation and grasp of the real thing, so the master asked me to sketch the green radish in the studio first.
Later, we planned to sketch the young corn poppy in the park, but for a while, the sun shone and we had to move to a cafe. Only one flower can be painted in the vase of the cafe, an unknown little red chrysanthemum. I used it as a model and created the following picture.
This painting has been painted for more than ten hours, but the effect is not ideal. Because the flowers themselves are too small and the colors are not bright. But this painting is not a complete sketch, it has many elements created by itself, including the location of flowers, vases and so on. From this point of view, it is worthy of recognition.
Speaking of photonics, sunflower is undoubtedly the best choice. Everyone loves the golden petals, but the disk and seeds in the middle really make people collapse and make me panic.
There are two more editions of this book because I spilled coffee on the first edition? ……
This time, I tried to draw the background, which was really thankless. Painting the sky and fields with colored lead is not only extremely time-consuming, but also rough in brushwork, far less delicate than watercolor. Another failed attempt.
It was also at this moment that someone suddenly said to buy the electronic version of my painting. I didn't even think about it, so I gave him five scanned versions of my paintings at a charge of 25 yuan. Even the buyer said, "I think you want a little less." The master said contemptuously, "You don't want to think about how many hours you have painted, and your time is worth so little money?" But I don't think so. I have been complacent for a long time.
I feel inferior. I have been doing jobs I don't like for years, writing articles that no one reads, and I can't get paid back. Over time, I feel more and more inferior. I am satisfied that someone is willing to pay for my painting.
After painting colored lead for a year, I can finally make money with it.
In June, I selected 10 beautiful paintings to print into postcards and take them to Wenchuang market for sale. It is the first time to use PS. It's a little too hard and the color is too bright.
I wonder what else to do besides postcards: bookmarks? Little card? Notebook? The master said: You can sell the painting directly.
Selling paintings? Will anyone buy my painting?
I put the photo in a photo frame in fear and took it to the market with the postcard. Finally, I sold three paintings and two sets of postcards. Although most of them are taken care of by friends, they also give me hope.
I'm just an ordinary person who loves painting, and I don't have much confidence. So I can't stand loneliness, I can't stand being ignored by others, and I can't fool myself into drawing. I just want to be happy. I am eager to realize my skills, but I just want to prove that my efforts are rewarding and valuable. I will continue to work hard for this!
Finally, I show a series of bookmarks made in summer. My road of colored lead, to be continued ~
