However, in several townships in the northwest of Feng County and several townships in the southeast of Xinyi, the time for the woman to arrive at her husband’s house must be after sunset.
3. Laba porridge: On Laba day, people eat Laba porridge, which is a custom that has been passed down for thousands of years.
The so-called Laba porridge is a porridge made from glutinous rice and red beans, red dates, longans, lotus seeds, peanuts and other grains and dried fruits.
Folk custom calls this day "Little New Year".
The presence of such ingredients in Laba porridge is in keeping with farmers’ wishes for a bumper harvest in the coming year.

The dragon raises its head on the second day of February: On the second day of the second lunar month, the dragon raises its head, the God of Fortune (the Lord of the Land) is worshiped in the city of Xuzhou, and popcorn and fried jelly beans are served to symbolize the thunder and the awakening of stings.
Use firewood and ashes to circle the warehouse, put copper coins in the warehouse to pray for wealth, and use the method of knocking on the bed stick and shining candlelight to curse poisonous insects.
In the Pi County area, barns are circled with plant ash, and grains are buried in the barns to pray for a good harvest. Rice krispies and jelly beans are fried to kill pests.
5. Fuyang Festival: It is a traditional Chinese food festival that starts on the first day of Fuyang in the traditional lunar calendar every year and ends at the end of Fuyang, lasting for one month.
"Eating Fuyang in Futian" has a long history in Xuzhou area, which can be traced back to the Yao and Shun period.
There is a saying among the people in Xuzhou area that "you can feed a sheep with a bowl of soup without any prescription from a miracle doctor".
