Hotpot-is the most famous and popular dish in Chongqing. Chongqing locals believe that hot pot is a local specialty, famous for its spicy taste, hot and tender. People gathered around a small pot cooked with charcoal, electricity or gas, which was filled with delicious and nutritious soup. You can choose spicy, pure and mixed soup bases. Thin slices of raw meat, fish, tofu products and vegetables are cooked in the soup base. Then you dip them in a small bowl of special sauce. Be careful, because the spicy soup base is very hot.
It was first eaten by poor Yangtze river boatmen in Chongqing, and then spread westward to other parts of Sichuan. Now is a very popular local flavor and can be found in every corner of the city. There are all kinds of hot pots here, including Yueyang hot pot, Siwei hot pot, Yashan hot pot and fish head hot pot. If you are adventurous enough, you can basically cook anything with hot pot, such as pig brain and duck kidney.

Mala Tang originated in Chongqing, the largest city in Sichuan, and all kinds of raw materials were mixed with steaming soup in a public pot. The double-sided soup pot on the stove in the center of the dining table is the focus of this meal. Hot mala Tang and delicious chicken soup are very popular. Ingredients include fresh sliced abalone,
