Looking back at the surging wave of post-posing in 20 10, it is found that although the proportion of traditional mode still ranks first, more works are gradually beginning to look for the possibility of breakthrough. Piano like Haruka Nakamura has a strong atmosphere, and it has begun to incorporate more styles and expressions. Thankfully, after years of post-shaking exploration, China is also constantly bearing fruitful results. It is no longer a trend to imitate the explosion in the sky or Mogwai. Only a more chic cross-border and fearless attempt can create a band full of hope. The five-member orchestra from Changsha, Hunan Province has passed the end of summer. They also like the elegance and gentleness of the piano, but they are obsessed with the traditional impatience. Between classicality and noise, it creates a kind of sad beauty, which makes the audience willing to sink their hearts and cut their own hearts. Although this army has existed for three years and only published three songs, each capital has tasted the taste of surprise and hope.
Forgiveness is a pure piano work. Accompanied by the intermittent rain and the vicissitudes of the piano in the background, it seems to be telling a beautiful love story, which is very sensational With the addition of some electronic elements, the piano sound was finally broken by the vast atmosphere, and emotions seemed to be finally redeemed and picked up by passion. And "Rain Flower Pavilion" is also an expression of feelings. The whole song has a strong sense of picture, just surrounded by sad piano sound and lingering guitar sound, as if it had seen the rain falling. And the final outbreak, unforgettable for a long time, always wanted to know what happened in Yuhua Pavilion.
Finally, we met, and then left our last meeting, parting (20 12).

When I noticed, it happened to be late summer. Douban's friends recommended their new album which had not been released at that time. The first thing that attracted me was the names of bands and albums, which sounded a little literary and a little unknown so. I have to say, the name of this album is really eye-catching, as if you have foreseen that there are full stories waiting for you just by looking at the name.
I missed the pre-sale because I know it's a little late, but the bandcamp website has released all the auditions of this new record, so it's better to listen to it first. The new album continues the strong classical+sad tone in the last EP, and adds the flute that is often heard in costume dramas. It's nothing new to add elements of Chinese style to the back volume, but the flute sound in Winbond and Snow Ear can deduce the classical sad atmosphere of Chinese style to the extreme, and the cover with the same style and profound meaning makes it easy for people to get into the play. While listening, I have been imagining the story of the cover following the melody. In less than 10 minutes of music, from the calm opening to the cold climax, and finally back to calm, the complete ups and downs spread in the sad mood.
Since 2009, I have heard hundreds of backslashes. What shocked me the most after the end of summer was not the band, but the gradual lethality. Listening to their album is like watching a doomed movie. Great tenderness and sadness slowly invaded, invaded and drowned, and the heartbeat seemed to slow down. There is unspeakable sadness, but even the protest can't be expressed. Without my participation, the story seems to have experienced the joys and sorrows of the characters, and when the last note stopped, it also exhausted all its strength.
The beauty of "Late Summer" is that it can convey so many emotions to the audience in a few minutes, just like a sound microfilm, and the story is filled with the imagination of the audience. Everyone is a screenwriter, they are cunning and quiet directors, manipulating all this behind the scenes, waiting for the audience's joys and sorrows.
The illustration on the cover also pokes my point of view. The illustrator's interpretation is: I show the world with ugly appearance, but only show you beautiful faces. I like beautiful covers, but this cover, like the album, is more sad than beautiful.
Listening to music is a very personal and emotional behavior. You can't impose your feelings on others, and even you can't fully express yourself most of the time. Therefore, many times when I hear the voice I like, my heart is full but I don't know how to write it. At this time, even the language is too weak. However, anything beautiful deserves extensive publicity, so I will recommend this young but excellent China back rock band to everyone. They have an embarrassing but literary name, and that is the end of summer. Their first full-length new album, "We finally met and left", has been included in my list of best post-rock albums of the year.
