Joan Hinton by Chen in Song Dynasty.
In February, the wind in Baling was strong, and the cold spring was not over.
Haitang does not hesitate to blush, and it is independent.

This quatrain is not so much a description of the cold spring as a description of begonia. Speaking of chanting Haitang, I can't forget Su Shi's poem Haitang: "The east wind is full of glory, and the fragrant fog is empty and the moon turns to the corridor." I was afraid that the flowers would fall asleep at night, so I lit a tall candle and put on red makeup. "In fact, these two Haitang poems are all written by Haitang. The holiness and loneliness of begonia in Su Shi's works is a portrayal of his demotion to Huangzhou. Chen's Haitang is elegant and aloof, which is a portrayal of his exile life. Therefore, the "wind" and "cold" in the first two sentences are both natural cold and social cold-the invasion of the southern nomads, the "broken mountains and rivers" of the small court in the Southern Song Dynasty, and the "ups and downs" of the poets. Why don't you feel "timid" In the last two sentences, the poet wrote about Haitang in a way similar to describing pine, plum, chrysanthemum and bamboo, saying that it was proudly "independent" in the wind and rain, although it was detrimental to its beautiful "rouge color". The style and elegance of begonia have been fully demonstrated. The poet touched upon Du Fu's poem "Flowers in the Woods are Wet with Rouge", which is not only more charming, but also more personal. The poet's style, character and elegance are all integrated into the description of Haitang, making this poem a masterpiece of chanting things, which is the secret of chanting things.
