Lijiang go on road trip Raiders

With the improvement of living standards, traveling abroad has become a good choice for everyone to relax on holidays, and go on road trip is gradually favored by car owners, because it can freely arrange time and itinerary and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way.

I made an appointment with two friends to take my family to Lijiang, Yunnan, and had a good time. After coming back, I took a rest for a while, and wanted to write a strategy for go on road trip, as a reference for riders who also plan to go to Lijiang in go on road trip.

There are seven adults and children in our party. A family of three plus two small couples. Three gay men can drive, but only two of them go, and they can be replaced halfway to ensure driving safety. From Chongqing to Lijiang, it is a highway, and I feel very relaxed.

I asked some friends who often drive by car and consulted online. Finally, the route we planned was: Chongqing-Neijiang-Yibin-Zhaotong-Panzhihua-Lijiang, which took two days. The return trip is Lijiang-Dali-Kunming-Guiyang-Chongqing, so there is no repetition, and I also visited Dali and Kunming.

There are expressways in this section from Chongqing to Yibin, which makes it easier and more convenient to drive. I hate this section from Panzhihua to Lijiang, which is surrounded by mountain roads. You should be very careful when driving, and it is also very hard to take a bus.

Let's talk about our preparation for departure and matters needing attention on the road:

About the preparation for driving:

First, of course, it is a comprehensive inspection of the car condition. It's a little funny to talk about this. Originally, I took out my car and one of my friends' cars, sent them to check together and took them back. As a result, his car was punctured on the way, so we had to delay another day.

second, prepare all the documents, such as driver's license, ID card, driving license, insurance card, etc., and then prepare enough change, so it is more convenient to pay the toll and bridge fee. When we went back to Chongqing to go to Dali, Lijiang traffic police stopped the car to check the relevant documents.

Third: Take some car repair tools, wrenches, traction ropes, etc. It's mainly up to you. Bikers who know how to repair cars can take all kinds of tools just in case. For us to repair cars, it's more reliable to bring mobile phones naturally.

fourth: a GPS navigator. A map. The road from Yibin to Zhaotong passes through many small counties, so these two things are very useful if you are afraid of getting lost. Moreover, when going to some remote scenic spots in Lijiang, the map logo is unclear and there are no obvious signs, so GPS can play a guiding role.

fifth: check your physical condition. Driving is most afraid of fatigue, and although Lijiang is not very high above sea level, it is also a plateau area. If you are in poor health, you will be more likely to be afraid of high reaction.

About the preparation of daily necessities during the trip:

First, put two boxes of mineral water in the trunk, and the problem of drinking water all the way can be solved by this box of mineral water.

second: clothes. Although Lijiang is not very cold in winter, the temperature difference between morning and evening is large, so it is no problem to bring a thin sweater and a down jacket. It is enough to wear a sweater alone during the day and a down jacket at night, and it is also very useful to go to the snow-capped mountains.

Third: Actually, you don't need an umbrella. Winter is the dry season in Lijiang, and it hardly rains. Our stay in Lijiang has always been sunny.

fourth: essential drugs: band-aid, cold medicine, gastrointestinal medicine, etc. Personally, I think these can be taken or not. Lijiang is not a backwater. There are a lot of pharmacies on the street, and it's really serious. The medicine you bring is useless and you have to go to the local hospital.

Precautions for driving:

Here, I especially remind riders who drive to Lijiang by car that Yunnan is full of mountains, and the roads are all around the mountainside, with many sharp turns, and the road surface is narrow. One side is close to the mountain, and the other side may be a cliff. For those of us who are driving for the first time, we should be careful.

Don't grab the driveway, don't overspeed, and be more careful when going downhill at a corner, even though the cars on the road are whizzing. After all, people have run for hundreds of times. Even if someone is impatient and honks the horn in the back, don't pay attention. I would rather be verbose than try to be brave. Life is priceless! !

It is inevitable that we will be very tired if we concentrate so highly, so the three of us who can drive change gears. One who has a good rest drives and the other two sit in the same car. If a cyclist is a driver alone, be sure to pull over and have a rest when you feel tired. Anyway, I'm not on my way. I just want to take a look at the scenery while parking.

When driving in the urban area of Lijiang, it is especially important to obey the traffic rules. I heard from the riders in Lijiang that the traffic police in Lijiang are particularly powerful, and the speed measurement is all infrared ... There are speedometers on the road from go to dali, Lijiang, and even on the road from Old Town of Lijiang to Shuhe Ancient Town. I remember one time we drove back to the ancient city after dinner, and a car next to us ran a red light while waiting for the traffic lights. As a result, we didn't know where the flash came from, and we were sadly photographed ...

Accommodation in Lijiang, go on road trip:

First, I suggest that riders book an inn in advance before going to Lijiang, and strongly recommend not to stay in Xincheng Hotel. Of course, it's not that the new town hotel is not good, but when you arrive in Lijiang town, you have to go to the ancient city to stay and experience the feeling of living in Naxi folk houses, and it's not convenient to live in the new town and visit the ancient city.

second: Old Town of Lijiang said it was not big. There are many inns and hotels, which usually go around seven times and eight times, but ordinary cars can't enter the ancient city. There are not many inns that are easy to park in the ancient city. Most of them are in the center of the ancient city or in remote alleys, which may be inconvenient for friends in go on road trip.

third: the quality of the inn. An inn is a place to rest, especially after a day or two of driving, you must find a comfortable inn to rest.

to sum up the above three points, we need an inn or hotel with convenient parking and good quality in the ancient city.

Booking an inn in advance has two advantages:

One is that you don't have to drive for a day or two, and you are extremely tired. In married with children, you have to find a place to park, and then you have to wander around the ancient city to find an inn;

Second, the hotel rooms are tight during holidays, so it is definitely not a bad thing to book an inn with good parking in advance. Holidays are the peak season in go on road trip. It is almost very difficult to find an inn in Lijiang, and it is even more difficult to find a good inn for parking.

We just booked the inn before we left. It's on Qiyi Street and it's called Yaoyuan Hotel. Although the name is a hotel, it is actually an inn. The standard Naxi Sihe Courtyard is much more exquisite and hygienic than the inn. It is also my recommended inn for driving in Lijiang this time. The yard is big, sunny, the room is clean and tidy, with flowers, and the room is carpeted, with good sound insulation effect. The key point is that the owner of the hotel is also a go on road trip fan. He stayed because go on road trip was attracted by the beautiful scenery of Lijiang on his way. Yaoyuan Hotel is an inn specially created for go on road trip enthusiasts. All parties and aspects are considerate of riders, and living here has a sense of belonging.

after we arrive in Lijiang, we drive directly to the south gate of the ancient city, and then we can drive directly to the entrance of the inn.

My family got off the bus and went to the inn to register. My friends and I drove to the nearby south gate parking lot, parked the car and walked back to the inn. It happened that the room there was also ready, and we took a rest and took a shower, and then headed for Sifang Street in the ancient city. It takes only a few minutes to walk from the hotel to Sifang Street. Qiyi Street is one of the main streets in the ancient city, and there are distinctive shops along the way.

Lijiang snacks in go on road trip:

I'm very excited about this, haha. There are many delicious foods in Lijiang, and the tastes of the dishes are similar to those in Sichuan and Chongqing. They are mainly spicy, but the snacks have a different taste. I recommend the following:

Hot pot with preserved ribs:

Let me start with my favorite hot pot with preserved ribs. Lijiang's special preserved ribs and tomato Chinese cabbage are served in a casserole. The salty flavor of the ribs and the sour and sweet taste of the tomato Chinese cabbage are a perfect match.

The most punctual place to eat preserved pork ribs is Xiangshan Market, which is only ten minutes' drive from the inn. Xiangshan Market is very lively, and there are many restaurants. Just look for the one with many people. A group of seven of us asked for a big pot. 88 yuan, there were not enough ribs to eat, so we added them later. As for rinse vegetables, you can take whatever you want, eat as much as you can, and you can return them if you can't finish eating them.

In addition, there is a preserved sparerib called Qiuyuege Restaurant in the ancient city, which is also good. The taste has been improved by the boss and it is very suitable for tourists like us, especially the soup is very delicious.

bean jelly with chicken:

This is also one of the famous snacks widely circulated on the Internet. We ate it next to the big stone bridge in Shuhe River. The cold dish tastes ordinary, but the fried one is delicious. The taste actually comes from the seasoning mixed with bean jelly. Bean jelly itself has no taste, but it is cool and slippery.

you can try it.

Naxi sausage, Naxi grilled fish, Naxi barbecue and nasimi enema

Haha, these are all named Naxi, and they all taste very special. These dishes were all ordered together at the ancient city restaurant.

The sausage is very fragrant, and it tastes a little numb. It should be fried with pepper and bean sprouts. It is simple, but delicious.

Naxi grilled fish is actually whole fish. The fish is fried to dryness, supplemented by thick soup such as onions and tomatoes.

The barbecue is really delicious, second only to my love of ribs. Standard pork belly, lean and salty, fat is not greasy, crispy skin, fried with mint, with a hint of cool taste, very delicious.

rice enema means adding pig blood to glutinous rice, then storing it in pig's large intestine, drying it, slicing it, dry frying it, and then serving it on a plate. It tastes a little greasy, but it tastes good.

Muslim beef restaurant

highly recommended, and it's about to catch up with the hot pot with ribs.

the recommended one is at the south gate, and you can walk a few steps to the right after you leave the south gate. The beef in this house is very delicious. Steamed, fried and fried, everything is classic. My favorite food is yaks, which are fried and fried with mint. They are fragrant and crisp.

My mouth is watering while writing ...

Tour routes in go on road trip:

I don't need to say more about the scenic spots in Lijiang. Let me talk about how friends in go on road trip design the tour routes of these scenic spots:

Day one:

Old Town of Lijiang-Qingxi Reservoir-Shuhe-Baisha-Xuesong Village-Old Town of Lijiang

. Lijiang is actually not big, and there is no overpass or anything, and the direction is very easy to identify. If there is no map or navigator, just ask for directions.

Among them, Xuesong Village, the former residence of Locke, is far away, but this distance is nothing for friends who drive by car. It takes less than half an hour to reach Xuesong Village from Baisha.

Qingxi Reservoir is the source of water supply in Lijiang, with a wide field of vision and beautiful scenery. There is a lot of space under the reservoir, so parking is very convenient. It takes about an hour to play.

Shuhe has a long-standing reputation, so I don't need to introduce it. But this ancient town feels cleaner than Old Town of Lijiang. There is a speedometer on the way from Qingxi Reservoir to Shuhe, so riders must not exceed the speed limit. On the road near Shuhe, there are local people stopping cars, and they don't have to stop. They are all restaurants or inns to solicit customers.

There is a parking lot near the Shuhe gate, which is very convenient. Play in Shuhe River and then have lunch. After lunch, come out and drive to Baisha.

There is a square in front of the white sand mural, which is convenient for parking, and there is a free public toilet. Baisha is a small town, you can visit it in less than an hour. If you want to see the murals, you can count it as an extra hour.

It takes half an hour to get to Xuesong Village, and it takes one hour to visit it. After that, drive directly back to Lijiang. At this time, there are more cars coming down from the direction of the snow-capped mountains, and the speed is fast, so drive carefully.

The next day:

Go to the Snow Mountain and surrounding scenic spots. Tickets for Snow Mountain can be booked directly from Yaoyuan Hotel. So the tour route of this day is:

Old Town of Lijiang-Ganhaizi-Baishui River-Yunshan Ping-Yushui Village-Yuzhu Qingtian Scenic Area-Dongba Wanshen Garden-Old Town of Lijiang.

On the way back, I will pass through Baisha, and I can stop going after seeing it the day before.

all these scenic spots have parking lots, which are very convenient. Moreover, there are not many cars along the way, the road conditions are better, the vision is broad, and the scenery is good. Driving all the way is enjoyable.

Day 3:

Shuhe suburb-Lashihai-Heilongtan.

There are two roads to Lashihai. One is to take the building materials market from Changshui Road, but the dust there is very heavy, so I recommend the riders who love their cars to take Shuhe River, and there is a field view of Shuhe River.

the specific route is to drive to the gate of Shuhe River, and then take the road on the left of Shuhe River, and you can drive to the outskirts of Shuhe River. There is a bus stop all the way, and there is a sign in the middle to indicate the direction of Lashihai. From there, you can avoid the building materials market and directly transfer to the road to Lashihai. However, there will be traffic jams on the road to Lashihai, and there will be a lot of traffic coming and going. We went gambling for a long time that day and moved bit by bit like ants crawling.

There are more parking places in Lashihai. When you get to Lashihai, you can choose to ride horses or row boats, so you can avoid tickets. You can play in Lashihai for 3-4 hours < P > and then return to Lijiang by the same way. If you want to go to Heilongtan, you can park your car at the south gate first, then walk through the ancient city, or you can drive directly to the parking lot at the north gate, park your car and have dinner at the Qiuyuege restaurant over there. The food in this restaurant is delicious. Then go directly from the restaurant to Black Dragon Pool.

Black Dragon Pool can get around for about an hour without admission fee, then pick up the car and drive back to the inn to have a rest.

Day 4 and Day 5

Lijiang-Lugu Lake.

The road from Lijiang to Lugu Lake is also very difficult. It is a mountain road. And the road conditions are not good, but it will be better in winter, and it will be much easier if it doesn't rain. And there is no gas station on the road, so you must fill up your gas in Lijiang before you leave. You can replenish it at the gas station near Ninglang when you come back. This must be paid attention to.

this section of the road tests the driver's skills and the endurance of passengers. You must drive very carefully on the way to Lugu Lake. It takes about half a day to drive from Lijiang to Lugu Lake. It is suggested that riders leave after lunch in Lijiang.

The inn in Lugu Lake can also be booked in advance. We booked it directly at Yaoyuan Hotel, which is a branch of Yaoyuan Hotel owner in Lugu Lake.

It's almost time for dinner at Lugu Lake. Stop for a rest, have dinner, then take a walk along the lake, and then go back to the inn to rest.

Get up early the next morning to breathe the fresh air of Lugu Lake. Those who are interested can drive along the lake and enjoy the scenery.

after lunch, we returned to Lijiang, where we stayed at Yaoyuan Hotel, and we especially liked the atmosphere of this hotel. Nothing to bask in the sun in the inn, feel in a daze, and play billiards.

riders with plenty of time can stay in Lugu Lake for one more day and take a boat trip to the small island on Lugu Lake.

the sixth day

Lijiang-Xionggu-Shigu-the first bay of the Yangtze River-Lijiang

This is also for the first bay of the Yangtze River, but now it is the dry season in the southwest, so the river is not particularly surging, but the momentum of that turn is still very spectacular.

Shigu Town is near the river. It is said that the scenery in spring and autumn is extremely beautiful, but it seems a little desolate in winter.

But we strongly recommend Shigu bean jelly, which is very delicious! ! Personally, I feel twice as delicious as the bean jelly I ate in Lijiang.

Day 7, Day 8 and Day 9

Lijiang-Tiger Leaping Gorge-Shangri-La

Depart from Lijiang around 1 am.
