Among them, Pingba beef jerky is a special snack in Anshun, Guizhou, which has a very long history, and its production technology is very elaborate. It is made by selecting high-quality beef from the hind legs of fat beef cattle, supplemented by appropriate seasonings such as salt and pepper, and by kneading, pickling, airing, air drying and frying. The made beef jerky has been recognized as a "famous dish in Guizhou Province" by Guizhou Cuisine Hotel Industry Association.
