On September 2, the county tourism bureau signed investment projects with Hangzhou Golden Sunshine Hotel and Wuhan Sante Cableway Company to develop Qiandao Lake Water Sleepless City and Huangshan Peak Scenic Spot, with the agreed funds of 53.6 million yuan and 35 million yuan respectively. Qiandao Lake Food Festival
From May 25th to June 8th, 1999, the first Qiandao Lake Food Festival was held in Qiandao Lake Town, co-sponsored by Chun 'an County Tourism Bureau and County Tourism Association, and undertaken by 14 hotels.
