The busiest place in Fengxian Bay University Town is the gourmet night market Xiaohei Street opposite Huali North Gate.

Fengxian Bay University Town, also known as Bay University Park, is located in Bay Town on the southeast coast of Fengxian District, Shanghai, on the north shore of Hangzhou Bay, close to the Blue Sea Sands tourist attraction and 55 kilometers away from People's Square.

In 2005, Shanghai decided to build a university park in Fengxian District with a supporting community of 10 square kilometers.

Bay University City is home to East China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai Normal University, Shanghai University of Applied Technology, Shanghai Business School, Shanghai Tourism College and other universities, with 100,000 teachers and students.
