Nihonbashi is a famous electrical street in the south of osaka, and it is only one stop by subway from the shinsaibashi area in Nambo. Electric Street mainly refers to the block from the east side of Takashimaya, Nambo, to the area from Erdingmu to Wudingmu of Japanese Bridge, and to the Sudmachi Station of the subway in Hui Mei. There are more than 2 home appliances and digital shops in about 8 meters along Benjin Avenue. Among them, there are many duty-free shops, which post product descriptions and advertisements in English, Korean and Chinese, attracting countless tourists to come shopping. Japan Bridge has a long history. It is said that it has been a bustling street of "Wave Speed (the old name of Osaka)" since the Edo era. After the war, with the economic recovery of Japan, Japan Bridge was reborn as an electrical street representing West Japan. From a small street with many small shops selling second-hand clothes and used books, it has grown into a representative bustling downtown area in Osaka in decades. As the saying goes, "Akihabara is in the east, and Japan Bridge is in the west". As one of the three major electrical streets in Japan, Japan Bridge is not only the best place to purchase cheap and high-quality electrical appliances, but also has gradually become the holy land of Otaku pop culture in recent years. The street on the west side, which is parallel to Kaman Avenue, is commonly known as "Imperial House Avenue". Unlike Kaman Avenue, which is full of large shops and buildings, there are mostly small shops and mixed buildings, with shops such as character models, toys, role-playing and maid cafes. This place is completely comparable to Akihabara in Tokyo, and it is a good place to appreciate the unique Japanese culture such as animation, comics and games. Japanese Bridge Street Celebration held in March every year, as well as Cosplay role-playing parade, voice-over seiyuu talk show, stage performance of maid role and other activities. It's 1 minute's walk from Tsumachi Station in Hui Mei, and 5 minutes' walk from Kamitomo, Tsuneji Line and Japan Bridge Station on Qianqian Line.
