This time I am painting food. I always feel that painting food is a very wonderful thing. I use bright colors to describe the shape and color of the food one by one, which has a kind of beauty with fireworks. .
Painting steps
1 This time I chose a watercolor handbook to paint food, which makes it more relaxed and casual. The original picture is rich in content, so I don’t need to draw it when painting. Everything is drawn, and you can choose based on the paper size and your own preferences, so I only selected some of the elements to draw. I still draft with pencil first, trace with a stylus pen, and then erase the line draft.
2 Color. When painting food, generally choose brighter colors, and the colors should be thin and transparent, that is, do not apply them continuously, and generally do not exceed three layers of colors. After the first layer dries, apply a thin layer of heavier colors to create a three-dimensional effect. For example, for waffles, first use orange and ocher to lay a light color. After it dries, add some dark colors (ocher + dark purple) to the depressions, and add some shadows at the same time. The three-dimensional effect comes out quickly.
3 Then draw small details. For both black raspberries and blueberries, I used the manual method of leaving white space to ensure that the effect is completed by stacking two layers of color. For the raspberries, I used the tip of the pen to make a circle to leave a little bit. White, and then on the backlit side, add a darker color. For the blueberry, the shape is drawn directly by drawing a circle, and the heavy color is added directly to the dark part.
4. Draw a small blue cup. Pay attention to the dark parts of the cup, that is, the cup rim and the bottom of the cup. The color should be emphasized in these places. At the same time, although the liquid in the cup is white, it is affected by the ambient color, so it also needs to be a little blue-gray. When drawing the knife and fork, pay attention to leaving white space. Because it is metal, it must reflect the light.
5. Other elements can be drawn more casually and do not need to be drawn too carefully, such as kiwi fruit, lemonade and waffles in the corner.
6. When drawing the tablecloth, pay attention to the deformation of the tablecloth pattern in the folds, and deepen the color of the folds.
How about it?
