As an authentic Heilongjiang native, local snacks can be updated in different styles with the changes of the seasons.
Summer is the hottest season here all the year round. In the evening, you will find barbecue shops set up in greenhouses on both sides, where many people are eating skewers, drinking beer and chatting. I can smell the fragrant aroma clearly on the third floor. It's simply tempting.
The autumn leaves began to fall, and we gradually felt bleak, but the food in the pedestrian streets of every city in Heilongjiang seemed to bring us a little warmth. All kinds of cold noodles, grilled squid, fried stinky tofu, rinse string and other countless things in the whole street are full of my sense of smell and taste.
It's thirty degrees below zero in winter. In such a cold situation, we watch the falling snow outside and enjoy the pleasure of popsicles and Sugar-Coated Berry. When I get home later, the whole family will gather together and eat a hot pig-killing dish.
In spring, everything begins to revive. Our greatest wish is to eat the freshest carp when we open the river. The smell of meat on our bellies makes people linger. It's simply delicious.
