Although the transportation in Zhangye is not as good as that in big cities, it is generally convenient. There is an airport and a high-speed rail station. It is very convenient to reach provincial capital cities such as Lanzhou and Xining. The only shortcoming is that the medical facilities for the elderly are not as good as those in first and second tier cities.

It's not as good as a city, but it's not a big problem to live in a short stay.

Zhangye's name as "Fortress on the South of the Yangtze River" is not just random. If you go to Zhangye National Wetland Park on the outskirts of the city, you will understand what "excellent ecological environment" means.

This park has a well-developed water system and beautiful scenery. It has a fresh side and some angles have the artistic conception of ink paintings. Except for winter, you can see different flowers in other seasons.

It is also a paradise for waterfowl, with different animals inhabiting it throughout the year.

In addition to the Wetland Park, Zhangye City also has tourist attractions such as the Big Buddha Temple, Muta Temple, and Ganquan Park. In the suburbs, there are Colorful Danxia Scenic Area, Binggou Danxia Scenic Area, Wai Xing Valley Scenic Area, Pingshan Lake Grand Canyon, etc. You can change places to play.

There are many places to taste delicious food in Zhangye. The Ganzhou market has a relatively dense concentration of categories and stores. If you want to eat barbecue, there are many well-known barbecue stalls near the Dafo Temple on South Street, with authentic taste and reasonable prices.

Generally speaking, it is very happy to live in a city like Zhangye for a period of time.
