1. The Arc de Triomphe, located in the center of Vientiane, looks like the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, France, but its arch base and eaves are carved and decorated by typical Lao temples, and it is on the top floor, giving a panoramic view of Vientiane. Around the Arc de Triomphe, a music fountain park has been built with the aid of the government of China.

2. The Jade Buddha Temple, originally a place dedicated to the famous "Sinhalese Buddha statue", is now a religious art museum, with rich collections ranging from the throne covered with gold by the king to Khmer statues, high-quality wood carvings, very famous door carvings and gold, jade and crystal Buddha statues of different shapes and sizes.

3. Xiangkun Temple is a very strange sculpture park, which contains a large number of sculptures of Buddhism and Hinduism. The combination of these two different religions makes the park extremely mysterious.

4. Taluan Temple is the most important national monument in Laos. It is a symbol of Buddhism and the sovereign state of Laos. It is regarded as the national treasure of Laos and the center of worship for Laos Buddhists and people.

5. There is a big green park along the Mekong River in Vientiane, called Mekong River Park, which is cool and breezy by the river.
