The reconstruction project of Xiya Sluice and Pumping Station in Dongfeng Town, Zhongshan City, and the reconstruction project of Erlie East Pumping Station in dongfeng town are scheduled to start on October 24, 222, when the Xiya Sluice and Pumping Station and Erlie East Pumping Station will stop running. In order to ensure the engineering and traffic safety during the project construction period, the road in the five-township joint embankment section where the Xiya sluice section and the Erliedong pumping station section are located will be fully enclosed. The relevant matters are hereby announced as follows:

1. The construction time of sluice and pumping station shutdown and reconstruction

from October 24, 222 to May 1, 224.

Second, the road section is closed

1. Five townships are connected to the embankment road within 1 meters upstream and 5 meters downstream of Xiqiao sluice.

2. Five townships are connected to the embankment within 2m upstream of Erliedong Pumping Station and 5m downstream of Erliedong Sluice. During the road closure construction, pedestrians and vehicles are prohibited from passing. Please forgive the inconvenience caused by the construction, please actively cooperate with the masses, make travel plans in advance, and make detours.

III. Precautions

The water dispatching in Xiqiaobu Village and Tongan Village of Dongfeng Town has been affected to some extent due to the suspension of the sluice. Please ask farmers, fish pond farmers and other units and individuals in need to make plans for water use and water diversion in advance.
