When I visited Baiyan Temple in Yuegu Town, I passed a small town, where I ate delicious hairy blood vegetables. The whole town looks shabby and the traffic is underdeveloped, but the folk customs are good and the scenery along the road is beautiful. There are many ginkgo trees there, which is a good place to enjoy ginkgo in autumn.

Introduction to Laigu Town

Yuelai Ancient Town, a mountain city in Dayi, is located in the west of Chengdu Plain, covering an area of 26 square kilometers. Yue lai zhen is located in Heming Township, a hilly area in the middle of Dayi County, only 8 kilometers away from the county seat. It is subtropical, with a mild and humid climate, with flat dams, hills and mountains. Belonging to the Ming and Qing Dynasties in western Sichuan, the ancient town is not big, and it is the only way to heming, with few tourists.

The ancient town of "one new, two ponds and three passes" in Dayi County has only four streets, but it basically retains the architectural style of the Republic of China. Although the area of the ancient town is small, it still retains its local characteristics. This is an ancient town with a long history. The scenery is not bad and there are not many people, but it seems to be no different from ordinary ancient towns. It is beneficial to go for a walk on weekends.

1. About transportation:

Take the passenger shuttle bus to Dayi at Jinsha Bus Terminal, with a ticket of 1 yuan/person. After arriving in Dayi, transfer to the shuttle bus in the direction of Yuelai.

From Dayi to Yuelai, the fare is 2.5 yuan, which takes about 3 minutes. If you come from Pingluo, you can also get off at Guandu gas station when you return to Dayi, then cross the road and wait for a passing car to Yuelai.

2. About food:

There are many small restaurants in Laigu Town. Of course, the most distinctive ones are Ma Yang, goat milk soup, steamed vegetables and wild mushrooms.
