Personally, I like Bennaby very much for several reasons:
First, the transportation in Bernaby is very convenient. It belongs to the junction of the east and west of Dawen area, with Vancouver in the west, Suri noble forest in the east and Richmond (a Chinese town) in the south. There is a big transportation hub, METROTOWN, with two overhead lines from south to north, and the 1 expressway passes along the north, so it is convenient to go anywhere.
Second, life here is convenient. There is METROTOWN, the largest shopping center in the province, next to Regent Plaza, a shopping center in China. There are also many western supermarket chains, as well as Chinese food and western food. Although there are not as many Chinese as Richmond, it is more peaceful than downtown Richmond and Vancouver. The campus is also good. From here to UBC, take subway 4 1, 49. SFU and BCIT are both in Bernaby. The key is that the housing prices here are also moderate, not as high as Wenxi and Wen Xi. Of course, the house price is much more expensive than that of Suri, Burlin, but Bennabi, especially the area near METROTOWN, is a very mature community. The most important thing to buy a house is to consider the location! Position!
The third is the natural environment. There are many large urban green spaces in Bernaby, such as Central Park, Luhu Park and Bernaby Mountain Park. The most important thing you need to know is that Vancouver is in a volcanic earthquake zone, and there is a high probability that an earthquake will trigger a tsunami. Bernaby is the highest city in the whole large temperature zone (excluding Ocean Street connected with Richmond), and I am not afraid of earthquakes and tsunamis. Hehe, it's been seven years, and there is an earthquake and tsunami warning every year.
The fourth is the security problem you are worried about. I have lived in Bennabi for almost six years, and nothing has happened. But in the first year, when I was staying with a host family in Queen's Park, my home was stolen. Queen's Park already belongs to West Vancouver. It can be seen that the public security in Greater Vancouver is generally good, but it is inevitable that there will be small probability crimes everywhere. Of course, don't go to Suri, where there are many Indians and Vietnamese, and don't go to Vancouver, let alone to Sistine Street and some areas in the city center. If you have to say which areas of Bennett have worse public security, try not to live near Royal Oak and Joyce Sky Station, and occasionally don't wander around the subway Sky Station alone at night.
Finally finished. . . . I'm exhausted. . . . I hope it helps you ~ ~
