The interesting places in Zhoushan are: Putuo Mountain, Zhujiajian Island Island, Taohua Island, Shengsi Islands and Xiushan Island.

Mount Putuo 1

Putuo Mountain, a national key scenic spot, is located at the mouth of Qiantang River and southeast of Zhoushan Islands, and is one of the four famous Buddhist mountains in China. The scenic spots include Putuo Mountain, Luojia Mountain and Zhujiajian Island Island, with a total area of 4 1.95 square kilometers. Among them, putuo island 12.5 square kilometers, and Foding Mountain, the highest peak, is 292 meters above sea level. It has a long history of Buddhist culture and rich island scenery.

2. Zhujiajian Island Island

Zhujiajian Island Island is an important part of Putuo Golden Triangle, the core tourist area of Zhoushan Islands, and the fifth largest island in Zhoushan Islands, with an island area of 72 square kilometers. 4. Shengsi Islands

Shengsi Archipelago, located in the north of Zhoushan Archipelago, at the intersection of the Yangtze River estuary and Hangzhou Bay, and facing the sea in the east, is the only way for international ocean-going ships to enter and leave the Yangtze River and Wusongkou, and it is the only national archipelagic scenic spot in China at present. It has the characteristics of sea and mountain, simple and magnificent, sea and Han, beautiful reefs, beautiful beaches, strange rocks and cliff dangers.

5. Xiushan Island

Xiushan Island is located between Zhoushan Island and Daishan Island. Legend has it that Xiushan Island is the "abbot island" of three fairy mountains on the sea and is known as "Shangri-La on the sea". Xiushan Island originally had two islands, Xiushan Island and Lanshan Island. The two mountains face each other across the sea, and they were connected after reclamation in Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty, so it is also called Lanxiushan Island.
