Linear icon, as its name implies, is an icon style composed of straight lines, curves and points. Linear icons have the advantages of high recognition, clear and beautiful, concise and easy to see, and linear icons will not cause too much visual interference to the page. Disadvantages: there is less creative space for linear icons, and too complicated linear icons will make people feel very tired.
2. Face icon
Area icon, that is, icon style with color filling of graphic content. Regional icons are the epitome of objects in real life, which have many advantages, such as strong expressive force, rich details, rich colors, strong emotional sense, outstanding vision and large creative space. Regional icons allow users to quickly locate the location of icons and quickly predict the state after clicking. However, face icons should not appear too much in the page, otherwise it will cause the page to be bloated, the primary and secondary are difficult to distinguish, and the user's vision is tired.
Step 3 Mix icons
When designing icon types, it is not necessarily limited to simple linearity and area, but can also be combined with them to make icons have both linear strokes and color-filled areas. Mixed icons can make the page more dynamic, attract users' attention, and be beautiful and creative. However, in commercial products, mixed icons should be used with caution, because improper use will make the page messy and users can't recognize the semantics expressed by icons.
