Transportation:

To travel to Xiangshan, you can arrive in Ningbo first, and then transfer to Ningbo South Bus Station or East Bus Station to go to Xiangshan. There are dozens of shuttle buses from Ningbo to Xiangshan every day.

you can choose to go to Ningbo by train or bus.

Ningbo to Xiangshan:

It takes about 2-2.5 hours to get to Dancheng by bus or bus from South Bus Station or East Bus Station (CMB allows drivers to stop at the intersection in the direction of downhill troops and walk to Sunjia Village).

Sunjia Village in Dancheng-Xihu Port: Take bus No.3 to Ximen Station in Dancheng Bus Station, and then transfer to Sunjia Village in the downhill direction.

Shanghai direct to Xiangshan:

Bus: Hutai Road Coach Station/Shilong Road Shanghai South Station/Zhongxing Road Passenger Terminal all have direct air-conditioned buses to Xiangshan (Dancheng) Bus Station, and the fare is about 15 yuan, and the journey takes about 5-5.5 hours;

Sunjia Village in Dancheng-Xihu Port: Take bus No.3 to Ximen Station in Dancheng Bus Station, and then transfer to Sunjia Village in the downhill direction.

Self-driving: 1) Starting from Shanghai, take Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway (passing through Fengjing, Jiaxing, Xiasha, Shaoxing and Yuyao service areas), then transfer to Ningbo-Taiwen Expressway (passing through Ningbo and Meilin service areas of Tongshan Expressway), get off at Ninghai exit, go 5 kilometers to Ninghai toll station (2 yuan for minibus) on Xiangshan connecting line, and pass the gas station 23 kilometers ahead. Cross the Elevated Ridge Tunnel for about 5M, that is, turn left at the second turning on the left, and the second village is Sunjia Village. The whole journey is about 35 kilometers, and the driving time is 4.5 ~ 5 hours.

2) Depart from Pudong, cross nanpu bridge, enter Inner Ring Elevated Road, arrive at Humin Elevated Road, enter Shanghai-Hangzhou Expressway, turn into the north bank of Hangzhou Bay Bridge at Jiaxing Hub, cross Hangzhou Bay Bridge, enter the south bank of Hangzhou Bay Bridge, enter Ningbo Ring Expressway, turn into Tongsan Expressway, that is, Yongtaiwen Expressway, exit from Ninghai of Yongtaiwen Expressway, and walk 5 kilometers to Ninghai Toll Station (small car 2 yuan). 23km ahead, pass the gas station, then 22km to Xiangshan Toll Station (15 yuan for small cars) on Xiangshan Link of Yongtaiwen Expressway, and then 2km to cross the Elevated Ridge Tunnel and enter Xiangshan County. Cross the Elevated Ridge Tunnel for about 5M, that is, turn left at the second turning on the left, and the second village is Sunjia Village.

Hangzhou to Xiangshan:

Bus: There is a direct air-conditioned bus from East Bus Station to Xiangshan (Dancheng) Bus Station, which takes about 4 hours.

Sunjia Village in Dancheng-Xihu Port: Take bus No.3 to Ximen Station in Dancheng Bus Station, and then transfer to Sunjia Village in the downhill direction.

Self-driving: Take the Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway-Ningbo Ring Road-Jison Exit-Yongtaiwen Expressway-Ninghai Xiangshan Exit-Xiangshan Connection Line, walk about 5M meters through the Elevated Ridge Tunnel, and turn left at the second turning on the left. The second village is Sunjia Village. It takes about 4 hours to drive.

(remember to collect the tickets when you get off the expressway. Ninghai toll station is free to pass with the high-speed toll ticket)

The best travel time: the climate is warm and humid, and it is suitable for travel in all seasons. The Xiangshan Seafood Festival is held from October to December every year and the China Fishing Festival is held in mid-September every year, which is the best time to travel to Xiangshan, taste the delicious seafood and appreciate the coastal fishermen's customs. However, the spring outing season and the summer fruit harvest season should not be missed. Watermelons, peaches and various fruits and vegetables grown by farmers are on the scene one by one, and freshness is not negotiable. (The typhoon sounds horrible, in fact, the breeze in Xiangshan at this time is very cool.)

Catering: Xiangshan cuisine is mainly raw and fierce seafood, and the famous dishes and snacks include: Xinxiangshan soup with four delicacies, salted crab, roasted chicken with roe, Sanhuang soup, Shipu fish noodles, seafood noodles, mashi and so on. The best places to eat seafood in Xiangshan are Xinhua Hua Road Seafood Street and Shipu Seafood Corridor, as well as the Gold Coast Hotel (Dancheng Songlan Mountain), Donghai Pearl Hotel (the intersection of Xiangshan Port Road and Xinfeng Road) and Pacific Donghai Fishing Village Hotel (Shipu Huangcheng Beach).
