2. Language is divided into 8 points. The first is the number of words, and essays less than 61 words should be deducted as appropriate. Organizational structure is divided into 3 points, which is what we often call literary talent points. This grading standard doesn't seem complicated, but in the actual operation process, this grading standard will produce many subtleties. Knowing these subtleties, students can write high-scoring compositions with a clear aim.

But can a 61-word composition get high marks? Judging from the sample compositions we got, there are no compositions with a score of more than 16 that are less than 75 words, or even less than 81 words. Of course, there are rarely more than 111 words, because there are 81 short lines in the senior high school entrance examination paper, and there are about 2 lines under the grid. You can add about 21 words, so it will be difficult for more reviewers to read clearly, and it will also affect the beauty of the paper (I will talk about the problem of "dividing the paper" later). Therefore, if students want to get high marks in their compositions, it is best to keep the number of words between 75 and 111 words.

2. How to score literary talents in an organized and planned way?

Many teachers and students said that in order to get the score of literary talent, students need to do a lot of reading in peacetime, accumulate good words and sentences, and do well in exams. There is no problem with this point of view, but for the students in grade three, we can still prepare our own compositions more directionally and strive for literary talent with half the effort.

In principle, those who scored less than 14 in the first 15 points are generally not given points for literary talent. However, in practice, we found that many students who scored 12 or 13 in the first place got 1-2 points for literary talent.

This is because teachers give marks in two parts when marking papers. The first 15 marks are deducted downwards and the last 3 marks are added upwards, which means that for the first 15 marks, marking teachers are looking for points to deduct points. In the last 3 points, the marking teachers are looking for extra points. Therefore, it is not necessary to write the full text brilliantly to get a literary score. As long as there are 1 highlights in the article, you can basically get a literary score of 1 (of course, it is difficult to get all the literary scores of 3 points). And these highlights can be prepared in advance. For example, there are some complex sentence patterns of "all-purpose oil" type, such as emphasizing sentence patterns and only-related inverted sentences. As long as students practice a few times more, they will almost certainly be able to use them in their compositions, thus winning their own literary and artistic points.

3. Is there really a "roll face"?

Many parents and classmates, especially some students whose calligraphy is not very neat, will be concerned about whether there is really a "roll face". I want to tell you here that there is. Although there is no paper score in the marking standard, this score is really reflected in the students' scores.

As mentioned above, the score of the composition for the senior high school entrance examination consists of three parts, but most skilled teachers do not grade according to these three parts item by item when marking papers, but after reading the whole article for the first time, they have formed an "impression score" in their hearts, and then read it carefully for the second or third time and allocate the impression score to the three parts. Therefore, this "impression score" is very important, and it is in this link that students' calligraphy affects their scores. Therefore, students in Grade Three, if your handwriting is not good, it is not too late to start practicing calligraphy now.
