Both shrimp and crab belong to crustaceans, and their genetic relationship and body structure are similar. Its forehead sword and claws are like swordsmen and warriors, and are often called "shrimp soldiers and crabs". They are closely related to human beings. They are not only the creative source of writers and artists, but also the delicacies of gourmets! From April 27th to August 22nd, 221, Guangdong Provincial Museum curated an original exhibition "Xia Bing _ Xie Jiang" in its collection-a feast of shrimps and crabs, in order to entertain the audience.

Crabs are very common in daily life, and they are "frequent visitors" on people's tables, but the audience may not know their natural science knowledge. With the theme of displaying natural science knowledge of shrimp and crab, 37 exhibits of fossil specimens, live shrimp and crab specimens and related cultural relics were selected. The audience can trace the origin of shrimp and crab through the exhibits, analyze their physical structure and living habits, and understand the species and characteristics of shrimp and crab through observation and analysis, so as to distinguish the "truth" and "falsehood" of shrimp and crab.

the exhibition is divided into four parts. The first part, "Tracing the Origin of Shrimp and Crab", shows the ancestors of Shrimp and Crab and their evolutionary route through a series of rare fossils. Which comes first, shrimp or crab? Swimming or crawling first? Maybe the audience will find the answer here. The second part, "Understanding shrimp and crab", shows the basic knowledge of shrimp and crab. By showing the morphological structure, basic characteristics and habitat of shrimps and crabs, the audience can elaborate on which arthropods can be called shrimps and crabs. The third part "The True and False of Xia Bing Xie Qiang" is the highlight of the exhibition. Among nearly 1, crustaceans named "shrimp" and "crab", only some members can be called shrimp and crab in the true sense. By dividing the four families of shrimp and the main schools of crabs, the living specimens and pictures of nearly 5 species of shrimp and 25 species of crabs are listed and displayed, covering the most common species in life, so that the audience can master the ability to distinguish between "true and false" shrimp and crabs. The fourth part, "Culture and Cuisine of Shrimp and Crab", enriches the connotation of the whole exhibition. It mainly displays literature, diet and artistic creation related to shrimp and crab, and leads the audience to experience all kinds of interesting stories and food culture of shrimp and crab in life from literature and artistic works.

during the exhibition, curators' guided tours, academic lectures and popular science education activities will be held one after another, so that the audience can have a more comprehensive understanding of the exhibition through various forms of educational activities. At the same time, the exhibition cultural and creative products and popular science three-dimensional picture books will be launched, so that the audience can take the exhibition home after watching it.

Shrimp and crab live together with human beings and other creatures on the earth, which is an important part of the natural ecosystem. It is hoped that the exhibition will guide and appeal to people to protect the habitats of shrimps and crabs, protect biodiversity and protect our nature by showing the species of shrimps and crabs.

this exhibition is free. At present, all members of Guangdong Provincial Museum make appointments to visit at different time periods. Please

The special feature of this exhibition is that a series of refreshing square pendants as decorative elements run through the whole exhibition from the preface hall. Through the combination and light and shadow effects, these hanging pieces, either in pieces, in lines or in nets, rose from the ground to the air at the beginning of the exhibition hall, as if connecting heaven and earth, and like a blue ocean, firmly attracted the audience's attention and introduced them into a space full of natural elements; Moreover, the pendant sometimes rolls and sometimes goes straight over the exhibition along the exhibition direction to guide the audience to move forward continuously; Finally, the hanging pieces were laid on the open space between the fourth and third floors of the exhibition hall, and the specimens of marine animals were hung on them. All kinds of marine animals seem to swim in the blue ocean, and there is a huge dinosaur fossil specimen below. Dinosaurs seem to have a good time under the blue sky. The whole exhibition is divided into seven relatively independent exhibition halls according to relevant contents. Finally, the whole exhibition ended with the presentation of environmental protection issues and various environmental protection anniversaries. It can make the audience understand Guangdong's natural resources with great interest and gain natural science knowledge easily and happily. The consciousness of loving and protecting nature arises spontaneously.
