Sifang Street (1)
Sifang Street in Shuhe Ancient City has four roads leading to all directions and surrounded by water. It is one of the oldest markets in Lijiang Bazi. In ancient times, there was a night market on the square street of Shuhe River. Just like today's urbanites, people walk freely in the square streets, stop to see strange things at will, eat something they want and participate in their favorite games. People who visit the night market walk through qinglong river with torches in their hands, like fireflies on summer nights, and become a landscape called "Night Market Fireflies", which is listed as one of the eight scenic spots in Shuhe River.
② Longtan
At the foot of Longquan Mountain, ancient trees are towering, and good water accumulates into Jiuding Longtan. The water in the pool is crystal clear, the aquatic plants are dancing, the fish are swimming freely, and Yulong Snow Mountain is reflected in it, which is proud of its beauty and endless artistic conception, and has become another scene of Shuhe Eight Scenes: Snow Mountain.
Here, you can have a panoramic view of the far and near scenery. The fields are green, the smoke is curling, the chickens and dogs are contending, the vitality is full, and the idyllic scenery is picturesque, which makes people linger. Especially on a moonlit night, it's most delicious to go upstairs and enjoy the moon. Literati often write poems on the moon, which is a much-told story. This scene is called the "Dragon Gate Looking at the Moon" in the Eight Scenes of Shuhe River.
(3) Red leaves in Xishan
There are many sumac trees on the west mountain of Shuhe River. Every autumn, the leaves are bright red and Qiu Guang is brilliant, which is pleasing to the eye. Among the eight scenic spots of Shuhe River, it is called "Red Leaves of Xishan", which is the most touching.
Shi Lian reads books at night.
The southernmost tip of Shuhe West Mountain is Songyun Village, followed by Shilian Mountain. There is a cave on the mountain, like a tiger's open mouth. In order to frighten the tiger's reputation, the local people built a temple at the entrance of the cave, named Shi Lian Temple, and one of the pillars was tied with an iron chain. During the period of the Republic of China, there were night schools, and scholars read around the fire at night, which became a landscape called "Shilian Night Reading" and was included in one of the eight scenic spots in Shuhe.
