Quanzhou self-parade route

East Street

Let's start with the east gate at the intersection of Wenling Road and Donghu Street!

The first major road section is Chongfu Road.

Chongfu Road is named after a Chongfu Temple on this road.

Not far from the intersection of Chongfu Road, you can smell a strong smell of old ginger. Two hundred meters away from the intersection, there is a well-known "Zhongji Ginger Duck". This ginger duck is crowded every day, and the diners waiting in line for such ducks are wave after wave. There is a small cake shop called a blessing opposite the ginger duck. The bronze gongs and exquisite cupcakes sold in it are all made by the boss's love. It is said that the boss used to make cakes in a big hotel! Later, I came out to run this small shop myself. The cupcakes made in this small shop every day are basically nothing left!

One hundred meters away from "Zhongji Ginger Duck" is the famous ancient temple in Quanzhou-Chongfu Temple. Located in Chongfu Road, Licheng District, it was originally named Qianfo Temple, and later renamed Chongsheng Temple, Hong Zhong Temple and Chongfu Temple. Together with Kaiyuan Temple and Chengtian Temple, it was called Quanzhou's three jungles. In 1982, it was designated as the second batch of provincial-level cultural relics protection units by the Fujian Provincial Government. Chongfu Temple is another temple that taught Shaolin martial arts after the abolition of Shaolin Temple in Quanzhou. After the renovation, the style of Daxiong Hall kept the Ming Dynasty's regulations, including Yinggeng Tower, Thousand-person Ding and Chongfu Temple in Hong Zhong. The Great Hong Zhong, cast in the early Ming Dynasty, has a loud voice, and "Chongfu Night Bell" is one of the eight scenic spots in Quanzhou.

At the back of Chongfu Road, there are two rows of beautiful kapok trees near the teachers' college. When spring comes, the kapok trees on both sides are very lively! However, after watching, you should mainly not be hit by thick kapok. After Chongfu Road, we will go back to East Street.

If you want to eat in Dongjie, you should start with the famous "Dongjie Lilou Meat Zongzi". Dongjie Zhonglou Meat Dumpling Shop (Quanzhou Licheng Lanshi Zhonglou Meat Dumpling Shop) has been making it according to the traditional methods of ancestors, maintaining product quality and excavating the essence of local food culture. With the continuous efforts of nearly 2 years, its products are famous at home and abroad. Won the honorary titles of "Top Ten Famous Snacks in Quanzhou", "Famous Snacks in Fujian", "Famous Snacks in China", "Famous Snacks Store in Fujian" and "Famous Products in China".

There are several good snack bars at the intersection of Nan Jun Road and East Street: Bodhi Zhai Caicai; Daxiaoxiong shaved ice shop is a small shop that is about to burst in summer; The "Guo Ji rou Jia Mo" from Great Kaohsiung is the most authentic one in Quanzhou! Jiaozi in it did a great job, too. Two dishes that I must order every time I go.

Speaking of East Street, we can't leave Zhuangyuan Street, Zhuangyuan Street, which is a pedestrian street located in the back street of East Street in Licheng District. It is connected with Zhongshan Road in the west, East Street in the north, and the middle part is located in the mysterious temple. It has a memorial archway with Quanzhou characteristics and is known as the first street in Bamin. Zhuangyuan Street starts from Zhongshan Road in the west and ends in Nan Jun Lane in the east, with a total length of 483 meters * * divided into three blocks, and the beginning of the block is a residential building. There are also three archways in the first block-"Zou Lu on the seashore", "Yue Xian Hai Bang" and "Four Bachelor". In the center of the block is a citizen's leisure square of more than 7 square meters, and on one side of the square is a large wall sculpture of "Ancestors Developing Jinjiang". At the entrance of the second block, three archways were built, namely, Renfengxingchun, Baiyun Ancient Land and Taikang Zhaoshi, and two large wall carvings on the walls of the square in the area, namely, "Seeing Lao Zi" and "Lao Zi going through the customs", reflected the scene different from the customs order of Hangu after Confucius met Lao Zi and Lao Zi wrote the Tao Te Ching. The most striking thing in the third block is the imitation of the Song Dynasty "No.1 Scholar" stone archway at the street corner. The archway is engraved with the names of six No.1 Scholars in Quanzhou, such as Zeng Conglong, Liang Kejia, Zhuang Jichang and Wu Lu. The "No.1 Scholar" stone archway and the reliefs of "Carp yue longmen" and "Yu Qiao Geng Du" beside it reflect the talented people and profound cultural accumulation in Quanzhou, an ancient city. Zhuangyuan Street was transformed from the "Zhuangyuan Square" with a long history. There are important cultural relics such as Yuanmiao Temple and Innocent Source Well in the street. The reconstructed Zhuangyuan Street retains the traditional architectural features of Quanzhou residential buildings, and through the contrast of red bricks and white stones and rich architectural sketches, an ancient street space environment with strong cultural color is constructed.

There is no best tourist season for a small scenic spot like this. In the eyes of young people in Quanzhou, Zhuangyuan Street has become a combination of old culture and new fashion. The characteristic bars have taken root in the neighborhood, adding a lot of vitality to the antique Zhuangyuan Street. If you just go to see the old memorial arch and visit the handicraft shop, it is natural that after 9:3 in the morning, there is also a special boutique next to the memorial arch, which is very popular nowadays. But if you are interested, you might as well go out and walk at night, where it is brightly lit.

We won't introduce Quanzhou's religion in detail for the time being. There are also many chaotic bar cultures in Zhuangyuan Street, which may be the characteristic of Quanzhou. Quanzhou people like to drink and also like to punch while drinking. Many people hate this kind of behavior, but I like the way Quanzhou people draw their fists. Very intelligent entertainment game.

There are not only bars in Zhuangyuan Street, but also a restaurant that has been selling skewers for many years. The affordable food is also fresh and varied. It's a great pleasure to invite some good friends there to eat skewers and drink beer and paddle boxing on weekends!

The bar on Zhuangyuan Street has been open for the longest time "On the Road". Because "On the Road" is a music bar dominated by rock and roll, some original rock singers often hold concerts here. Just like the name of the bar, "on the road" is also the spirit of these rockers. Although I seldom go to the bar, this theme bar has always been my favorite bar.

There's another good shop called 595 carp in Zhuangyuan Street. This store is the earliest stronghold of street culture in Quanzhou, and it is full of fashionable equipment points for young people who like skateboarding, graffiti, hip-hop and hip-hop. There are many T-shirts from Taiwan Province, which are of good quality and affordable. These are also symbols of Quanzhou Chaozhou culture.

There is also a Hongshi restaurant in the back of Zhuangyuan Street, which is also very good. Hongshi Restaurant is an early theme restaurant in Quanzhou, which is engaged in the combination of Chinese and western food. The signature black pepper steak rice inside is very good! However, for students, the consumption of Redstone will be a little higher. There is a boutique called ACC next to Hongshi restaurant. You can find some nice little home decorations in it.

west street

after walking east street, we began to move towards west street.

First, introduce the egg tart shop near the Bell Tower. The egg tart inside is definitely more affordable and delicious than KFC's. The "Happy Bear" restaurant next to the egg tart shop is also a cheap and elegant restaurant. Next to Quanzhou Cinema: Tian Luofen, Icelandic husband.

On both sides of West Street, there are a small number of old buildings preserved during the Republic of China. It makes people feel a departure from time. The tender spring skin in the middle section of West Street is also famous in Quanzhou. When eating spring rolls every year, people who come here to buy spring rolls can almost discharge more than ten meters away, which is very spectacular!

There is a home at the traffic lights at the junction of West Street and Xinhua Road: greedy duck. It is also worth eating! That scent can float out of half of West Street. Kaiyuan Temple in West Street will not be introduced in detail.

Zhongshan Road

Let's introduce Zhongshan Road, most of which are middle and lower grade clothing stores. However, there are many nice alleys running through Nan Jun Road and Xinhua Road on Zhongshan Road. As for the section of Zhongshan North Road, as long as it is mainly hospitals and schools, Weiyuan Building can often see exhibitions of some old painters, and there is an underground bookstore in Quanzhou through Weiyuan Building to Zhongshan Park. It's only a short walk to Huaqiao New Village, a place worth visiting! There are private cafes, private restaurants and old villas with authentic old-fashioned Nanyang style.

When we return to the middle of Zhongshan Road, there is a Quannan Christian Church. At the entrance of the church is an old Shanghai barber shop, which seems to be a state-run and very old barber shop, which is particularly special in this section.

The first alley near Xinhua Road in Zhongshan Road Middle Road: Tongzheng Lane. There is a starting point art school in it, and friends who like painting can go and have a look.

Turn around again, and we will continue to take the second alley: Kuixia Lane. The most famous snack bar in Kuixia Lane is the one at the entrance! There are the most authentic meat swallows in Quanzhou and the signature noodles called Xiaodian! Because it's delicious and cheap, the business is super good! You often have to wait in line.

After eating the noodles, we will go back to Zhongshan Road and go to the third alley: Huaxiang. Although Huaxiang is not a big alley, it is basically a small printing factory in Quanzhou. There is a nice little cafe at the corner of Huaxiang Lane, which is called "Ancient Coffee". It's also worth going.

Then go back to Zhongshan Road and cross Tin Street to the fourth alley: Goldfish Lane. The old-fashioned Lantern Festival at the corner of Goldfish Lane is a treasure in Quanzhou. Tangyuan is made by putting the ball-shaped stuffing into a barrel filled with glutinous rice flour and rolling it into a ball shape. The big stuffing is thin and sweet. The same name as the Lantern Festival is rock sugar fungus soup, which is sweet but not greasy, rotten but not thick, and melts in the mouth. Siguo soup and radish acid next to Yuanxiao Yuan are very good! There is also a first-class roast chicken leg next to it.

Zhongshan South Road is my favorite street, because the shops and some buildings in the Republic of China on both sides of this road are well preserved. Just look up and you can see the Chinese and English business names and the store style of the store above the store. Nowadays, most of Zhongshan South Road is mainly selling bicycles and electric cars. It has lost its former prosperity and become very quiet and leisurely. The food on Zhongshan South Road will also make your mouth water! It is only the fourth alley I want to introduce: Watergate Lane. As soon as I got to the alley, there was a smell of meat! Surrounded by fragrant mutton restaurants, beef restaurants and dog meat restaurants, one by one, every family is doing a brisk business! Further inside is the delicious fried bun shop and the most famous Watergate batter in Quanzhou.

if you go further inside, it's five castles. Wubao is the densest timber area in Quanzhou, but the area is not large. Wubao is a very interesting place! It has one castle, two castles, three castles, four castles and five castles. There are so many branches in a short alley! More than a dozen families are connected to form a castle. The most interesting thing is that there are only two houses in Fort Two? I really can't figure out why this alley is named like this. It is said that this whole alley was originally called Bamboo Lane. It was named after the whole alley used to sell bamboo.

Go through Wubao, and then return to Zhongshan South Road. Go down to Zhongshan South Road to Jingang Lane. There is a oyster fried at the corner of Jingang Lane, which is also very famous! But I didn't eat it very well. Go down and you'll get to Qiaoguang Cinema. There is a steamed bun in front of this cinema, which is also delicious! It's also an old brand. Go to the end of Zhongnan South Road and you will find the legendary Tianhou Palace.

It was built in the second year of Qingyuan (AD 1196) and is located on the bank of Jinjiang in the south of the city. Mazu Lin Momiang, a daughter of Meizhou Island in Putian County, was born in the first year of Jianlong, Song Taizu (AD 96). When she grew up, Lin Momiang was determined to do good and help others all her life, never marry, devote herself to studying medicine and preventing disasters. She has a smooth temperament, is enthusiastic about helping others, solves problems, and guides villagers to avoid evil and get lucky. Anyone who is killed is willing to ask her for help. At that time, there was a great epidemic of plague in Putian, and Lin Moniang tried her best to use pesticides to save the villagers, and she really recovered. The villagers are grateful to her for saving their lives.

Also known as Tianfei Palace, it is a national key cultural relic protection unit. Tianfei Palace is a Mazu Tempel with the highest existing building specifications, the earliest age and the largest scale in China. Tianhou Palace was built in the second year of Song Qingyuan (A.D. 1196), and the government often held a ceremony to worship the sea for merchant ships going to sea here.

Mazu's name is Lin Mo Niang, a commoner in Meizhou Island in the Northern Song Dynasty. It is said that when she was born, she was full of incense and radiant light. She did good deeds all her life and guided the villagers to avoid evil and be lucky. Later, she was killed to save her father who was caught in a storm. The people appreciated her virtue, respected her as a goddess of the sea and set up a temple to worship. Before going out to sea, local fishermen all went to the Tianhou Palace to worship.

In the fourth year of Song Yongxi (AD 987), on the Double Ninth Festival, Mazu's father and brother sailed north, and the west wind was in a hurry. On the way, they met with strong winds and rough waves, and the ship jolted violently in the violent winds and rough waves. Mazu was sensitive to the death of her father and brother, and her father rescued her, and her brother and herself died. In this way, the villagers praised her for "understanding the secret law, predicting the blame, and the villagers recovered from the illness." If you are able to cross the sea in a mat and travel between islands in a cloud, people call you the goddess and the dragon lady. Because Mo Niang was kind to the people before her death, she was honored as the goddess of the sea by the coastal people after her ascension. Set up a temple for sacrifice. Since the establishment of Tianhou Guan in Quanzhou, the name of the temple has been "Shunji" given by Weizong, which means "Shunji is downwind".

The main hall of Tianhou, although it has experienced many vicissitudes, the wooden buildings of Ming and Qing dynasties are still well preserved, and the components of future generations are still preserved. The main hall covers an area of 635.5 square meters; Built on the base of the platform, 1 meter above the ground, it is made of granite. The architectural structure is quite special, and the spatial changes are very rich. The doors and windows are curved and staggered, the carvings are exquisite and fine, and the ornamentation is rich and colorful. There are not only geometric patterns, but also flowers, aquatic animals, birds and animals. There are phoenix peony in the wood-supporting part, and the longevity beam makes a happy visit to the heart, showing the female temple. The paint in the temple uses the patterns of Zhong Li and Ruyi, one of the "Warm Eight Immortals" painted by Zhu Di, and its green space is carved with the patterns of passion lotus and magpie climbing plum, which are auspicious symbols, and some patterns are animals, meaning "longevity". The basic reliefs in the temple are even more dazzling. Eight Horses, Eight Treasures, Fugu Bird Dragons and various flowers show the aquarium fish flying over the waves and competing with hundreds of flowers. These are all patterns that show the theme of Taoism, with the mascot of Fu Lushou as a foil, showing the extraordinary realm of the fairy family.

Nine ridges and double eaves are built at the top of the temple, which falls into the water on all sides. The main ridge is the highest point of Tianhou Temple, and colorful porcelain-shaped double dragon play beads at both ends are exquisite in shape and bright in luster, representing the supreme theme of the whole big ridge dragon. The four ridges are combined with phoenix patterns, corresponding to the big ridge, and the back is used as a character story, with dragons, phoenixes, Kirin, Xuanwu and Shuang Hu, which embodies good luck and celebrates longevity. It is a building in southern Fujian.

So Tianhou Palace is well worth visiting! Don't miss visiting two old shops next to Tianhou Palace, one is four fruit soup and the other is mung bean cake. This mung bean cake is not inferior to Gulangyu's mung bean cake!

Jubao Street

Qinglong Lane Gathering Street in the Old Street Story

There is an old saying in Quanzhou, "Chong-Ryong Kim, Yinjubao", which describes two streets in Quanzhou, namely Qinglong Lane and Jubao Street.

Several dilapidated but lofty ancient courtyards in Qinglong Lane, which is just over 1 meters long, must be called "gold" in its heyday. According to reports, the area south of the city in Song and Yuan Dynasties was the commercial center of Erythrina, especially Jubao Street. As the China literati described it, "A city with an important place is more prosperous than Nanguan. Merchants from all over the world, all the tributes, are all gathered. " "The city is full of drunken songs and dances, and several people are immersed in it." Such a prosperous Jubao Street can only be sacrificed to "silver".

jubao street is in the south of the city, just turn Wanshou road, and it's a mile long from the street corner to the south end of Cheqiaotou. During the Song and Yuan Dynasties, a large number of foreign businessmen came from Erythrina Port.
