Guangzhou Xintang High-speed Railway Station is located in Xintang Town, Zengcheng District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, China.
Xintang Station is the eastern hub center of the "Five Main and Four Auxiliary" Guangzhou railway hub. It is a key link in the "Greater Bay Area on Track" high-speed rail backbone network and is under the jurisdiction of the Guangzhou Depot of China Railway Guangzhou Bureau Group Co., Ltd.
The railway station passes through the Guangzhou-Shantou High-speed Railway, Gansu-Shenzhen High-speed Railway, and Guangzhou-Shenzhen Railway.
Xintang Station was built in 1929.
On September 26, 2023, the newly built Xintang Station was officially put into use with the opening of the Guangzhou-Shantou High-speed Railway.
There are intercity Xintang South Station and subway Xintang Station near Xintang Station.
The former can be connected to the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Intercity Railway; the latter can currently be connected to Guangzhou Metro Line 13. In the future, there are plans to set up stations on Lines 16, 20 and 28 (Foshan-Guangzhou-Dongguan Intercity) and their branch lines.
