Xiaomi was established on April 6, 2010. In order to thank Mi Fans for their support and companionship of Xiaomi Company all the way, and to give back to the fans who have supported all the way, a grand fan carnival is held every year on this day to express gratitude to Mi Fans. So this day is named Rice Noodle Festival.

On April 6, 2012, Xiaomi held the first Rice Noodle Festival at D-park in 798. Lei Jun, founder and CEO of Xiaomi, wrote in a greeting card to Mi Fans: “Xiaomi’s philosophy is the philosophy of Mi Fans.
