In June 2020, due to the impact of the epidemic, the international tourism industry I was engaged in was still not improving. When I had nothing to do, I invited a few colleagues and friends (who were also temporarily unemployed at home) to go on a hike.

Where to go?

The destination was not decided upon after several people got on the bus. It was not until the car drove out of the underground garage that everyone agreed to set off for Weihai, Shandong Province. This is a real spontaneous trip!

Departing from Tianjin at 10 o'clock, it took more than 7 hours to arrive at the first stop, Rushan Silver Beach Scenic Area in Weihai City.

My friend who was traveling with me bought two commercial houses here more than ten years ago, and my old father has been living here for his retirement.

When we learned that we were coming to Rushan, we packed up the room first. What was surprising was that there were dozens of sets of fishing gear, sea poles, hand poles, etc. in the room. How much my uncle loved fishing!

As per the old rules, the five old guys in Huihui Zhenlou are ready to set off. The weight for five people plus one piece is nearly 450 kilograms, not including luggage. It seems that my big gray has never pulled such a heavy piece of meat!

I took a break at the Guangrao service area on the way. I have to say that the food in the high-speed service area in Shandong is quite good. The buffet is 35 yuan per person. Eat as much as you want and don't waste it.

After eating and drinking, I changed hands and the old driver went on the road. I sat in the back and had a rest!

By the way, I have never sat in the back seat since I came home. This is the first time!

We will arrive in Rushan soon. On the Rushan seaside road, the blue sea stretches as far as the eye can see.

Early the next morning, I drove to the local market, where I was overwhelmed with all kinds of vegetables, fruits and seafood!

The most attractive thing is Rushan’s specialty – oysters!

The black ones in the middle are blueberries. The small box is big, only 28 pounds. The taste is okay, but not as delicious as the ones from Yunnan.

After purchasing a bunch of seafood and fruits, on the way back, take a walk on the beach!

The beach here is characterized by clear water and fine sand. The key is that there are not many people. Look at this beach, the tide has just gone out, and there are only one or two people in the distance chasing the sea.

The sky was a bit cloudy and cool, so I needed to wear a light jacket, and there was a thin layer of dew on Da Gray's body.

This is the mouth of a river.

The water is clear, the sand is fine, the sea is green and the sky is blue. Due to being soaked in the water for a long time, this reef has grown large areas of seaweed. After the tide recedes, it looks like a grassland.

The lunch meal is prepared by a five-star chef himself, and the cost is only 80 yuan, and the labor cost is negligible!

After lunch, drink some tea and eat some fruit!

I will go to the beach to catch a hundred and eighty pounds of seafood later, and continue in the evening!

In the early morning of the next day, there was the sound of rain outside the window. It seemed that today's travel plan was ruined. Everyone had something to eat, drank tea, packed up and prepared to leave for Weihai. We passed by Rongcheng on the way, and a friend had already dropped off.

Thanks to our beautiful friends from Rongcheng for their warm hospitality. An hour's departure from Rongcheng, we arrived at the Weihai Qiaoxiang Cruise Scenic Area. The huge cruise ship was moored on the shore. Let's take a panoramic view first.

Our friends continued to entertain us at dinner, but this time we were entertained by typical Shandong men. We, who had little ability to drink, could not withstand the Shandong men’s warm respect and were defeated one after another.

I didn’t take any photos, so I went back to the house to sleep!

After sleeping for a while, I really didn’t want to miss the beautiful night view of Weihai, so I got up and took a walk on the beach. It was a bit cold at the beach. It was late at night and there were no people. Only the street lights illuminated the beach dimly.

When I woke up in the morning, it was foggy. It seemed that the weather in Weihai was not very good these two days.
