Note:

1. Headline of the school field: the name of Beijing Hutong, which is 451 meters long, was named after the military exercises in the Ming Dynasty. In the Ming dynasty, it was called the general teaching field an alley. In the Qing Dynasty, it was renamed the title of general's school field, and in the late Qing Dynasty, it was called the title of school field, which is still in use today. There are Sanyuan Guild Hall (No.1 Courtyard), Yongzhou Guild Hall (No.2 Courtyard), Yunnan Guild Hall (No.7 Courtyard), Shanzuo Guild Hall (namely, Shandong Guild Hall, No.17 Courtyard), Lingxiao Xu Former Residence (No.19 Courtyard) and Wu Xiaoling Former Residence (No.47 Courtyard).

2. Shuangcheng Bookstore: the name of the study of Wu Xiaoling (1914-1995), a famous classical writer and bibliophile. Wu Xiaoling was the first scholar to spread the theory that the author of Jin Ping Mei was Li Kaixian (a writer and dramatist in Ming Dynasty), and laid an important foundation for the study of this theory. Wu Xiaoling has the most complete set of Jin Ping Mei in different periods. The manuscript of Shu Yuanwei's preface A Dream of Red Mansions, which he collected in the fifty-four years of Qing Qianlong, is the only manuscript of A Dream of Red Mansions at present. The copy of "The Legend of the Ghost" in his collection has been handed down from generation to generation, which is very precious. In Wu Xiaoling's former residence, there used to be two acacia trees (known as Hibiscus trees in ancient times), which were very popular with their owners, so they named their study "Double Hibiscus Bookstore". Originally, the door leaf of the former residence was engraved with the inscription: "Hong Wen is unparalleled in the world, and he is a good teacher." This couplet was inscribed by Sun Zhuang, a former Qing scholar and famous calligrapher. Now, the courtyard has been renovated, the acacia trees have disappeared, the doors have been taken away by private people, and the culture of old Beijing has been eroded a little.

3. Lingxiao Hange: The study name of Lingxiao Xu (1886-1961), a famous journalist, anecdote expert and drama research expert in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, takes the poetry of "thinking about Lingxiao Hange". From October 4th, 1928 to February 31th, 1931, Ta Kung Pao Drama Weekly, edited by Lingxiao Xu, published 152 issues, which left valuable historical materials of words and pictures in the history of China drama. From July 7, 1929 to August 9, 1937, Lingxiao Xu and his brother Xu Yishi jointly wrote stories about the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, which were serialized in Tianjin Ta Kung Pao National News Weekly for 8 years, with a total of nearly 1.5 million words, and concentrated on sorting out the stories of the ruling and opposition parties from Qing Daoguang to the early Republic of China for more than 111 years. In September, 1928, Lingxiao Xu finished the first Beijing-style documentary novel "The Return of the Ancient City" in Lingxiao Hange. Now, Lingxiao Xu's former residence has fallen into disrepair and become an ordinary residence.
