The highest altitude is 43 meters, with a total area of ??11.6 hectares.

During the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, in order to prevent Japanese pirates from invading, a beacon tower, also known as a beacon tower, was built here.

Yantai got its name from this.

After Yantai opened as a port in 1862, 16 countries including Britain, France, Japan and the United States successively built consulates, churches and post offices here.

Yuhuangding Park, also known as Xiao Penglai, is located on Yuhuangding in the south of the center of Zhifu District. It is a relatively complete group of ancient buildings from the Yuan Dynasty.

The main buildings are three parts: Xiao Penglaifang, Yuhuang Temple and Yuhuang Pavilion. They are shaded by pines and cypresses, and the palaces and pavilions are elegant and graceful. They overlook the urban area and the sea. Being there is like entering Penglai Wonderland.

West Fort Park is located on Tongshengang in the northwest of the city, with a maximum altitude of 106 meters and a total area of ??10.7 hectares. It is called the West Fort because there is a coastal defense fort opposite the East Fort built on the mountain.

The West Fort is composed of walls, large and small forts, a military exercise field, an underground command post, and ammunition depots.

Tashan Amusement Park is located in the embrace of Tashan in the southeast of the city, with lush trees and pleasant scenery.

Yantai City Museum was originally the Fujian Guild Hall, also known as the Queen's Palace. It was built in 1884 with donations from Fujian shipping merchants and completed in 1906.

The hall has an elegant structure and exquisite carvings, showing the unique style of southern Fujian architecture.

It consists of five parts: the mountain gate, the main hall, the apse, the theater and the east and west corridors.

The wood and stone carvings between the pillars and beams, which are based on myths, legends, folk tales, and historical figures, are exquisitely crafted, unique in craftsmanship, and of high artistic quality.

It is now a national key cultural relics protection unit.

Changyu Wine Culture Museum Changyu Grape Winery Company was invested and founded in Yantai in 1892 by Mr. Zhang Bishi, a wealthy businessman from Nanyang. The license was issued by Li Hongzhang, an important minister of the Qing Dynasty.

In 1912, Mr. Sun Yat-sen personally inscribed "Pin Chong Li Spring" to Changyu Company.

In 1915, Changyu Company's brandy, red grapes, Riesling and Gewürztraminer won the gold medal and the best certificate at the "Panama Pacific International Exposition".

In 1987, the International Grape and Wine Bureau named it the only "International Grape and Wine City" in Asia.

The century-old underground wine cellar and wine culture exhibition hall display the century-old glorious history of China's national winemaking industry.
