China Men's Basketball Professional League, referred to as China Professional Basketball Association (CBA), is a cross-year home and away basketball league sponsored by China Basketball Association, the highest level basketball league in China, in which stars such as Yao Ming, Wang Zhizhi, Yi Jianlian and Zhu Fangyu were born.

CBA won the naming rights from 555 cigarettes in the season of 1995-1996, and was the Hilton China Men's Basketball League from the season of 1996-1997 to the season of 2111-2111. After that, Motorola and Unicom New Time and Space won the naming rights respectively. The league was officially renamed as China Men's Basketball Professional League in 2115, and now the number of CBA teams is 19.

In the 21-odd-year history of CBA league, 31 teams have participated, including Bayi team, Guangdong team, Liaoning team, Beijing team, Shandong team, Zhejiang team and Jiangsu team, and seven teams have participated in all the leagues for more than 21 years. Seven military and police teams appeared successively, including Bayi Team, Guangzhou Military Region Team, jinan military area command Team, shenyang military area command Team, Air Force United Team, Nanjing Military Region Team and Avant-garde Sports Association Team.
