Zhejiang University now has seven campuses, namely Zijingang, Yuquan, Xixi, Huajiachi, Zhijiang, Zhoushan and Haining. The details are as follows:

1. Zijingang Campus of Zhejiang University: No.866, Yuhangtang Road, Xihu District, Hangzhou. Zijingang Campus of Zhejiang University is located in Tangbei plot in the west of Hangzhou. Founded in 1897, Zhejiang University, formerly known as Qiushi Academy, is one of the earliest new institutions of higher learning established by China people. It is one of the first key universities to enter the national "211 Project" and "985 Project".

2. Yuquan Campus of Zhejiang University: No.38, Zheda Road, Xihu District, Hangzhou. Yuquan Campus of Zhejiang University is located in the northwest corner of West Lake, next to Hangzhou Botanical Garden. The campus covers a total area of more than 1,7 mu, with a total building area of 7, square meters. Yuquan Campus is the former seat of Zhejiang University. At present, more than 1 colleges and party and government organs, such as Science College, Aerospace College, Electrical Engineering College, Mechanical Engineering College, Energy Engineering College, Materials and Chemical Engineering College, Information Science and Engineering College, Civil Engineering College, Biomedical Engineering and Instrument Science College, Economics College, Public Management College and Computer College, are located in this campus. The campus has excellent comprehensive conditions for running schools and complete basic facilities.

3. Xixi Campus of Zhejiang University: No.148, Tianmushan Road, Xihu District, Hangzhou. ZhejiangUniversity was founded in 1897, referred to as "Zhejiang University" for short, and formerly known as "Qiushi Academy". It is one of the earliest new institutions of higher learning established by China people. It is one of the first key universities to enter the national "211 Project" and "985 Project". In the long-term process of running a school, Zhejiang University has cultivated a large number of outstanding talents with a rigorous style of seeking truth from facts and created fruitful results with persistent innovative spirit.

4. Huajiachi Campus of Zhejiang University: No.268 Kaixuan Road, Jianggan District, Hangzhou.

5. Zhijiang Campus of Zhejiang University: No.51 Zhijiang Road, Xihu District, Hangzhou. Zhijiang Campus of Zhejiang University is located in the beautiful Moon Mountain near the Qiantang River and Pagoda of Six Harmonies. Before liberation, Zhijiang University was located. It was a missionary university jointly founded by the Presbyterian Church in North America and the Presbyterian Church in South America in Hangzhou, China, and it was also one of the thirteen Christian universities in China. Its predecessor was Chongxin Yi School, which was founded in Ningbo in 1845 (twenty-five years of Qing Daoguang). In 1867 (six years of Qing Tongzhi), Chongxin Yi School moved from Ningbo to Hangzhou. On June 1th, 212, the signing ceremony of "Cooperation Agreement between Zhejiang University and Zhoushan Municipal People's Government to Build Zhoushan Campus of Zhejiang University (Ocean College of Zhejiang University)" was held in Hangzhou. Zhejiang University and Zhoushan Municipal Government * * * built Zhejiang University Zhoushan Campus with a total investment of 2.8 billion yuan. The campus is located in Huimin Bridge New District, Lincheng City, Zhoushan City. The campus with a total construction area of 24, square meters started in 212 and was completed in 215. The College of Oceanography of Zhejiang University will rely on the natural advantages of Zhoushan New Area to develop the marine discipline of Zhejiang University. As the sixth campus of Zhejiang University, Zhoushan Campus of Zhejiang University was put into use in September 215.

7. Haining Campus of Zhejiang University: No.718, Haizhou East Road, Haining City, Zhejiang Province. In order to further serve the national strategy of strengthening the country with talents and innovation-driven development, improve the level of higher education in Zhejiang and its international influence, and accelerate the process of building Zhejiang University into a world-class university, Zhejiang University started to build the International Union College of Zhejiang University (Haining International Campus) in February 213, and was officially approved by the Ministry of Education in October 215.

During the Kuomintang period, under the leadership of Zhu Kezhen, Zhejiang University rose to be one of the highest institutions of learning in the Republic of China, and was praised as "Oriental Cambridge" by Joseph Needham, a British historian of science, which ushered in the most glorious period in Zhejiang University's century-old school history. Zhu Kezhen, the old president, became the greatest person in the history of Zhejiang University because of his historical contribution, and established the motto of "Seeking Truth" and the classical Chinese "School Song of Zhejiang University" for Zhejiang University.

2. Zhejiang University, directly under the Ministry of Education and directly under the central government (deputy ministerial level), is one of the top universities in China, the university with the most complete disciplines and the highest student entrepreneurship rate in China, one of the first batch of "211 Project", "985 Project" and "double-class" A-class key construction universities in China, and one of the first batch of 2 universities with independent degree review.
