Similarly, in the film and television works related to the legendary woman Da Yuer, The Secret History of Xiaozhuang is still a well-deserved leader. Of course, it is limited to film and television works. After all, mixed with a lot of unofficial history, it is not a correct portrayal of Xiaozhuang. The bitter and cruel love between Da Yuer and Dourgen is a very impressive point in this play. At first, Da Yuer was very interested in Dourgen. Later, she heard that Dourgen was designed by A Min and died in battle. She was determined to sacrifice her happiness, and Huang Taiji avenged Dourgen. Later, she married Da Yuer of Huang Taiji, and she was obsessed with Dourgen. Although later Shunzhi succeeded to the throne, Da Yuer used her feelings with Dourgen to appease and support her son, but they did have love. Therefore, when she learned of the death of Dourgen, Da Yuer was heartbroken, and decades of ruling career failed to stop the despair and sadness in her eyes. Similarly, when Dourgen returned from injury, he was heartbroken to see Da Yuer married his brother.

It is undoubtedly a pity that two people who love each other like this have to die well because of family interests and other factors.
