Taking advantage of the breezy April day, I took a look at Sanlihe Park near Qianmen Street, which is really beautiful and full of small comforts.
The specific location of Sanlihe River is on the east side of Qianmen Street, and its northernmost end is connected with the famous Xianyukou Food Street. There are also distinctive sculptures in Little Square in this northern section.
This river is about 6 meters long. Walking along this river from north to south, people can feel the profound charm of merchant culture, guild hall culture, Liyuan culture and folk culture one by one.
When I see the clear river, I can't help but think of a poem by Zhu Xi, a great scholar in the Song Dynasty:
When a square pond of half an acre is opened, the sky is shining and clouds are hovering.
what's so clear about asking the canal? Because there is an inexhaustible source of constant flow of living water for it.
Look at this small bridge, flowing water and people, how it smells like a water town in the south of the Yangtze River. In an instant, it reminds me of Zhouzhuang, a water town in Jiangsu, and the beauty of artistic conception in the works of the famous painter Wu Guanzhong.
you see, this place is full of pastoral charm.
haha, it's so sweet. At the moment, it seems that people can forget the stress and troubles in life and work.
There are many kinds of flowers here! Coming here is like coming to the world of flowers. You see there are winter jasmine, begonia, lilac, rape, peony and so on.
Tired from walking, we are thirsty. There is also a coffee shop and a library for tourists to rest. There is also an old guild hall and a paint guild hall nearby. Now, the old stage is preserved and there are regular cultural performances.
Look, there are old streets and alleys, halls and temples protected here. How exquisite. It is said that there are as many as 47 ancient buildings around.
The old houses here are also particularly interesting and have a strong sense of historical vicissitudes. Looking at it, people have a feeling of going back in time.
The doors of the old courtyards in Beijing are very particular, and they are called differently according to different levels and sizes. From the first level to the sixth level, they are called Wangfu Gate, Guangliang Gate, Jinzhu Gate, Man Zi Gate, Ruyi Gate and Wall-attached Gate respectively.
There are many piers beside the courtyard gate, which have different shapes and look particularly interesting.
There are many clubhouses in and around here, such as Wuhu Club in Anhui, Tingzhou Club in Fujian and Xinjian Club in Jiangxi.
According to relevant information, the total number of guildhall in Beijing's history once reached 391, and Nanchang Guildhall was the earliest one, which was built in Yongle period of Ming Dynasty. The largest guild hall in Beijing is Anhui Guild Hall, which has the reputation of "the first guild hall in the capital". Covering an area of more than 9, square meters, the museum has three courtyards on the left, middle and right, and each courtyard is composed of five quadrangles. It was once an important place for Anhui Huai army generals and dignitaries to contact their feelings in Beijing. Today, this guild hall is a national key cultural relic protection unit.
according to the different functions of the guild halls, the guild halls in Beijing are also divided into scholar's guild halls and business guild halls, the former is mainly used as a social place for fellow officials and gentry, and the latter mainly serves foreign businessmen in Beijing. They originated in the Ming Dynasty and reached their peak in the Qing Dynasty. Later, with the abolition of the imperial examinations at the end of the Qing Dynasty, the guild halls gradually declined.
According to the Textual Research on Sanlihe River in Beijing, Sanlihe was the southeast suburb of metropolis in Yuan Dynasty, with numerous lakes and reeds. According to historical data, when the moat in Zhengyangmen area was dug in the Ming Dynasty, the original depression in Sanlihe area was built into a flood discharge canal, which was named "Sanlihe" because it was three miles away from Zhengyangmen. In the late Qing Dynasty, due to the depletion of the water source of Sanli River, the river gradually became deserted. Coupled with the rapid population growth, people buried the dry riverbed to build houses, and the river was naturally trapped under the house, and Sanli River disappeared completely.
It is understood that in 216, the relevant departments started the project to restore the original appearance of Sanlihe scenic spots. After a year of relocation of residents, green plants were planted and the Sanlihe scenic spots were decorated one by one. Finally, the old Sanlihe was transformed into a park that everyone admired.
Walking, I can't help but sigh that April is the most beautiful day in the world, and the beauty of Beijing is still in the street. Places with history can always arouse people's excitement and produce heartfelt pleasure!
