Bangkok and Pattaya are both larger modern cities in Thailand. They have very rich tourism resources and a strong tourism industry. They have splendid Thai classical culture and modern elements to make your travel experience more exciting. Let me share with you about Bangkok.
Pattaya six-day free travel guide.
Before I start the travelogue, let me give you some background. I usually don’t have time to take (accompany) my son and daughter out when I work. When my son’s summer vacation was about to end, I took them to Thailand for 6 days (purely free travel). He likes swimming very much, so
This trip I chose to go to Bangkok and Pattaya in Thailand.
Of course, when buying air tickets, I decided to go to Thailand at the beginning of July. I planned to go with the whole family. Direct air tickets during the summer tourist season are very expensive, so my children and I first paid attention to whether there were air tickets with suitable prices. The first choice was the direct flight from Hangzhou to Bangkok.
But I have never found a round-trip ticket with a price of around 1,500 (the timing cannot be too bad because the children can't bear it, and a hotel will also waste a night). A friend bought a round-trip direct flight from Hangzhou to Bangkok during the group purchase on the Air China app. The price including tax was 1,700
It was around 100 yuan. When I went to see it, there was no such price anymore.
In the end, I chose Air Macau's Hangzhou-Macau-Bangkok connecting round-trip ticket. The price is 1,868/person (tax included). The price is about the same for adults and children. It seems that children are 100 yuan cheaper.
Need to purchase one month in advance.
I have another plan when I buy the joint tickets. I can take them to Macau for a day on my final return, and then return to Hangzhou from Macau in the evening. This way I can visit two places. After all, Macau is very small, with only two islands. I have been to a lot of them.
As a first time visitor to Macau, it would be good for me to take them to visit Macau in one day.
But my plan really couldn’t keep up with the changes when I was away from home. Due to some special reasons, there were a lot of changes and troubles during this trip. I won’t mention the details now, but I’ll talk about them later.
Flight time: August 22nd to August 27th. The connecting ticket purchased on the official website of Air Macau (it will be a little cheaper on Ctrip than on the official website), but the water on Ctrip is deeper. If there is a problem, it will be more troublesome to solve. I still
I chose to buy on the official website, and it turned out that my choice was correct.
After purchasing the air tickets, the first change occurred. My wife's company was unable to apply for leave. (Her reason for asking for leave was to take the whole family to travel abroad. This may be the reason why the boss did not approve it.) At this time, all air tickets and hotels were closed.
Already booked.
The itinerary and tickets were almost booked, which suddenly disrupted the next travel plan.
She was also helpless. What should she do if her boss doesn't approve the 4-day leave? Change the date or refund the ticket? A week later, she went to her boss again to talk about the leave, but the boss refused to approve the leave. The result of the communication was
Only 2 days of leave can be granted at most, so there is no other way, just 2 days.
I contacted Air Macau to have her ticket refunded (need to send an email), a 600 handling fee was deducted, and 1,286 yuan was refunded.
Because she only had 2 days of vacation left, she would take the evening flight after get off work on the 23rd to meet us in Bangkok. I used 30,000 Air China miles to redeem her flight from Hangzhou to Bangkok at 22:40 in the evening (the actual cost was 30,000 (mileage + 580 taxes and fees) and bought the same one-way connecting ticket from Bangkok-Macau-Hangzhou as we did (costing 1,900 yuan). These are the additional expenses for the first change of hometown.
Preparation before departure: 1. Passport. Get your passport in early July and send the visa on Ctrip. It will be completed within a week.
2. Phone cards: 3 pieces, 30 yuan/piece. You can get a phone card on Ctrip to register for Uber after arriving in Thailand. Necessary. 3. Visa service fee: 22 yuan/person. The passport visa delivery service fee for 6 people is 132 yuan, and the visa fee is waived.
Get it on Ctrip 4. Thai Baht: Exchange 21,000 Thai Baht at the Bank of China, the exchange rate is 4.8, the exchange rate is not good, in fact, you can not exchange it, you can exchange it at many exchange shops when you come out of the airport, as long as the exchange is small, now you swipe your card
Yes, very convenient.
5. Sun protection equipment: sunglasses, hat, sun protection clothing, sunscreen, after-sun repair, umbrella.
6. Others: power banks, chargers, etc.
7. Airport pick-up and drop-off: This is also a necessity. Considering the large number of people (elderly and children), we need to make an appointment in advance, so I ordered GL8 pick-up and drop-off at all the places I could think of. Home - Xiaoshan Airport (90 yuan), Suvarnabhumi Airport
—Bangkok Courtyard Hotel (238 yuan), Bangkok Courtyard Hotel—Pattaya Mercure Hotel (chartered by the hotel, 2,800 baht), Pattaya Mercure Hotel—Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (250 yuan), Xiaoshan Airport
- Home (90 yuan), my wife's company - Xiaoshan Airport transfer (90 yuan), and all other taxi expenses are paid by Uber. Uber is very simple and practical. If it is a short distance trip, it is basically free.
(More details later) 8. Tickets for the transvestite show are available on Ctrip for 700 yuan. 9. A half-day tour of the Grand Palace in Bangkok costs 1,327 yuan for 3 adults and 2 small guests.
