From early morning to night every day, I feel that there are a few hours less traffic than before in the city. Five o'clock in the morning to eleven o'clock in the evening seemed to go by in an instant.
Time slips away so easily, but fortunately every day is not wasted and there is something rewarding. The weather is very warm today, and all the brothers have come to the temple to make tea and fruit.
Do whatever you can to benefit the temple. It is a good deed to cultivate fortune and wisdom for oneself and benefit future generations! And it also shared the tedious labor for the master and the resident senior brothers.
It is a kind of monk protecting Dharma. I am happy for everyone’s protective merits.
Master treats the brothers like children who have returned home, and personally goes to the dining hall to prepare fast meals for the brothers. In fact, so many brothers came at once, and Master stayed in the dining hall to work.
It also greatly reduced the chaos in my dining room. Make some hot noodles and steamed dumplings, prepare some stir-fried vegetables, and a portion of soup per person is indispensable.
I asked a local brother to try northern pasta. The master used wild rice from the south to make steamed dumpling fillings, paired with celery and dried mushrooms. It tasted great!
We make steamed dumplings and the master stir-fries. The fire in the furnace was burning brightly. Just like each of us, we are happy and full of energy.
The senior brothers were picking and harvesting fruits in the tea garden, and the master took the time to loudly tell the senior brothers in front of the door, don't be tired, come back, drink some water, sit down and rest.
The senior brothers are very happy to work for the temple. They are not willing to sit down for a while. They all want to pick the fruits back quickly and share the autumn harvest.
Master also took some time out of his busy schedule to post a verse in the communication group, so that everyone could share in the joy of harvest. It is not only the autumn harvest, but also has a deeper metaphorical meaning. ?
"The Harvest"
Fruitful and fruitful
Offerings to permanent residents and monks
Dharma joy is filled with giving
Compassion, joy and no regrets
Disciples’ endless energy
Dharma joy is full of blessings
May you be blessed in the future and now
It is true to give up one thing to gain ten thousand things
Master smiles and puts his hands together
While practicing it with no regrets, and at the same time not forgetting to observe opportunities and teach, and to transform sentient beings, Master has experienced harmed!
Both parties work hard for others and are busy together. Treat the family with delicious food, and the laughter turns into the spring breeze.
We have all accomplished our respective efforts. After finishing the fast happily, Master happily taught everyone how to integrate many problems in life and resolve them with the help of Buddhism.
I remember the clearest answer given by Master. I was deeply impressed by the issues related to eating.
Master answered the brothers’ questions about blindly tolerating. Not compromising is also a form of compassion. Don't give the other person a chance to spread their endless desires.
Saying "no" is also helping the other person. For example, for adult children, let go of your own worries and let them grow up independently. When asking parents blindly, refusing is also a sign of mercy to the children.
In this busy day, I have a deep understanding of sacrificing one thing to get ten thousand rewards. The brothers sacrificed their time for a day but gained the wisdom of life.
Being close to virtuous people is the most auspicious!
