When we were young, we all expected to live a first-class life. When asked what we want to do when we grow up, we always said that we want to be a scientist when we grow up, but in the process of our growth, we were defeated by reality, and many dreams were wiped out in reality. We began to care about our dreams no longer, and began to be convinced by reality. We just ran around for our own livelihood every day and gradually forgot our dreams.
Maybe many years later, when I am old and look back on the past, I will sigh. At that time, I had a dream, but I was knocked down by reality and gave up. It's really regrettable. Do you think it would be different now if I had persisted? But the reality is always cruel, no matter which choice we make, we will regret it, but will we give us some psychological comfort for the persistence of our dreams, instead of saying that we can only dream and express our minds if we have money.
In the Third-rate Road, the screenwriter started from the protagonist's dream and threw a handful of chicken soup.
The hero, Gao Dongman, used to be a Taekwondo player, but in order to earn money for his sister's operation, he deliberately lost a game and missed out on becoming a national representative. Dongman, who can't play Taekwondo, can only do the work of removing mites.
Cui Aila, the heroine (the man's childhood sweetheart), dreamed of being an anchor when she was a child, but her grades were not good enough to be admitted to the broadcasting department, so she had to work as a consultant at the front desk of the shopping mall.
Jin Zhuman (a high school classmate of Dongman), with a first-class taste, is known as "Da Jang Jin". He wants to be a gourmet. After graduation, he can only be the head of food procurement at a shopping mall.
Bai Xuexi (Ella's best friend and Jin Zhuman's girlfriend) dreams of being a good wife and mother. Because she falls in love with a poor boy and has no money to get married, she can only work as an operator.
The lives of the four protagonists are very different from their dreams, and they all become mediocre people, just like us in reality.
The people in this play are very close to us in reality, so we will be moved by their stories, because their experiences seem to be our portrayal.
They are struggling for their lives in the drama. Those sad and realistic plots are what we look like in real life.
But this is only a part of Third-rate Road. What attracts us more is those things about friendship, love, affection and dreams.
No matter what pains and misfortunes you encounter, there are people around you who support and understand you, whether friends, lovers or family members, which are the things that support our strong life.
It is these concerns that drive us to continue to struggle for our lives and ideals. Moreover, although the protagonists have all become mediocre people, they have not given up their dreams and are still fighting for them.
In addition to dreams, there is love in the play, and my favorite is the love between Dongman and Ella. Dongman said to Ella,
"I can live a humble life, but you can't do that"
"Don't let others look down on you"
When others bully Ella, Dongman can stand up and won't allow others to bully Ella, and he can't give it to Ella.
We are not superheroes and have no ability to save others and the earth, but we may live a third-rate life. In fact, it is not necessarily worse than a first-rate life. It is also a first-rate life to try our best to live a third-rate life.
