Five majors were rated as first-class undergraduate majors in Guangxi, 1 autonomous region-level "integration of specialty and curriculum construction" major, five autonomous region-level key construction majors, seven district-level first-class undergraduate majors, and two district-level ideological and political demonstration courses.
College was founded in April 2002, formerly known as Xiangsihu College of Guangxi University for Nationalities; In February 2004, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, it became a full-time undergraduate college (independent college); In March 2006, the Ministry of Education agreed that Xiangsihu College of Guangxi University for Nationalities should be renamed Xiangsihu College of Guangxi University for Nationalities. According to the arrangement of the Ministry of Education for the transfer of independent colleges, Xiangsihu College of Guangxi University for Nationalities plans to be transferred and renamed Nanning Digital Vocational and Technical College.
